So if you are sleeping,
Simply get yourself comfortable and if you are sitting too,
Find yourself relaxing and getting comfortable.
Any meditation is best experienced in a quiet and comfortable place where disturbance is at the minimal.
So if you are in a quiet and comfortable place,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath.
And as you exhale,
Release any tension or stress you're holding in your body.
As you inhale,
Allow positivity and calm to flow into your being.
So we inhale positivity and calm and we exhale any tension or stress we're holding in our body.
Now as you continue to breathe deeply,
Reflect on a recent negative experience.
It could be something small like a traffic jam that made you late for a meeting or something bigger that possibly could be impacting your performance at work.
Visualize that event in your mind and allow yourself to feel any emotions associated with it.
Emotions could be anger,
Frustration,
Disappointment.
Whatever the emotion is,
Simply allow yourself to feel it.
Don't try to suppress any feelings that come up.
Simply acknowledge and accept them.
And now take a step back and try to see the situation from a different perspective.
How could this negative experience be a positive one?
What can you learn from it?
Perhaps being stuck in traffic gave you time to listen to an inspiring podcast.
Or losing your job opened an opportunity to pursue a career you're really passionate about.
Whatever the situation may be,
Look for that silver lining.
And now take another deep breath and visualize a scene that represents a positive outcome for the negative event that you're reflecting on.

You could be getting hired for your dream job or have a fulfilling and unexpected conversation with a loved one.
Imagine yourself at the scene feeling happy,
Feeling fulfilled.
And as you continue to inhale and exhale,
Repeat positive affirmations to yourself.
