This is a short but powerful meditation to call you into the present moment with embodied breath and ease. I offer peace pauses as a way of coming back to the home base of peace. Use this quick pause at any time in your day when you are feeling less grounded and connected to your inner self. This is also a great meditation for those mornings when you just don't have that much time but want to have a complete sense of checking in with yourself.

Hola friends.

Welcome to a five minute peace pause.

Please decide whether you'd like to just stay standing,

Knees softly bent,

Sit or lie down.

Whatever you choose just to commit to being there fully for these few minutes that we have and letting go of every other obligation,

Activity,

Or problem-solving that can come later.

Let's bow and take a full breath in and as you exhale offer a soft bow forward in service of peace and rise up and just let your exhale sweep your shoulders widening them left to right opening up through the heart.

Lots of space to breathe and feel your feet on the earth if you're standing or your hips earthy and heavy if you're seated and if you're lying down just feel your weight supported by the stability of the earth and just do a gentle sweep of your body noticing any places where you're feeling blocked or stuck tense maybe it's your jaw the hips maybe you're holding your belly in habitually then just take a really deep breath and fill your body up fill fill and then just let out a big sigh do that one more time big full-bodied breath and fill from top to bottom side to side and the big release and then coming back to a natural breath notice how the body organically makes space for the expansiveness of the inhale and that the exhale just naturally sweeps us of what is expired feel your body breathing in and feel your body breathing out body breathing in body breathing out just like you were replacing your mind on the quiet altar of your breath inhale exhale bring your palms together in front of your heart take a full breath in as you exhale offer a soft bow forward and service of presence and peace and rise up and relax your effort stay attuned to the earthiness below your feet your hips your body and attuned to the expansiveness of your breath the sweep of your exhales stay in peace my friends blessings
