Find a comfortable seated position,

Resting your hands gently on your lap and then softly closing your eyes.

When you're ready,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Allowing your chest and belly to expand with the breath and then exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension or stress,

Bringing your attention to your breath.

With each inhale,

Feel yourself breathing in love,

Kindness and forgiveness and as you exhale,

Release any negative thoughts or self-doubt.

Now bring your mind to a moment from today that brought a smile to your face.

No matter how big or how small,

Just reflect on this moment and feeling gratitude for its presence in your day.

And then shifting your focus inwards,

Take a moment to offer yourself forgiveness for any judgments or mistakes you've held on to.
