Welcome to this letting go meditation.
Just take a moment to get comfortable and whenever you're ready,
Close your eyes.
Allow your body to settle into the chair or the bed beneath you,
Allowing your hands to rest gently and then take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out without any need to change anything right now.
Just allow yourself to arrive and pause for a few breaths.
Begin to notice your breath moving in and out,
Soft and gentle.
There's nothing you need to do,
Just breathe and feel the support beneath you.
Notice how you're fully held in this moment.
You are safe,
You are supported.
As you breathe,
You may notice thoughts arising,
You may notice sensations or emotions and there's no need to push them away,
Just simply notice and allow.
Now gently bring to mind this thought,
I don't need to prove anything.
Repeat it silently inside,
I don't need to prove anything.
And notice how your body responds as you say that.
Is there any tightness or tension?
And if there is,
Simply breathe into it.
There is nothing you need to prove to be enough because you are already enough in your work,
In your relationships and in your life exactly as you are.
Your worth is not defined by other people's opinions,
It's not defined by their reactions or approval.
And repeat after me,
I am already enough.
And feel the space that opens when you let go of that striving.
Let go of the need to be liked.
Let go of the need to perform.
Let go of the need to control how others see you.
Notice how that feels in your body.
Allow your muscles to soften and any tension to melt away.
And you can silently repeat to yourself,
I am safe to relax.
I trust who I am.
Every breath reminds you that you can trust yourself.
You can trust life.
And you don't need to force or chase anything.
You know deep down the right people,
Opportunities and connections are already on their way.
And they arrive at the perfect time.
Take one more deep breath in.
Slowly exhale.
Noticing the sensations in your body.
Releasing any tension from your face,
Your shoulders,
Your belly and your hands.
And in a moment when I ask you to open your eyes,
Remember to carry this calm feeling with you.
Throughout your day.
Because you don't need to prove anything.
You are enough.
Repeat one more time after me.
I am enough.
When you are ready,
You can slowly bring your awareness back into the present moment.
If it feels good,
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Gently blinking open your eyes and coming back into the space.
