Hello and welcome to this quick 10-minute stress relief meditation.

No matter what's going on with your day,

Just take 10 minutes to sit with me and relieve any stress that's been going on throughout your day.

You might want to sit on the floor,

On a cushion or on a chair,

Whichever is best for you.

And once you're ready,

Just place your hands onto your thighs,

Palms facing up or down,

Whichever is most comfortable.

Take a deep breath in,

And as you exhale,

Close your eyes.

Take another deep breath in,

Deep inhale,

Let it go.

Relax your breath.

Relax your body.

Relax your mind.

Allow yourself to let go of anything that's going on outside of you right now,

And turn your attention inwards.

Notice how you're feeling.

Notice where you're holding on to any tension,

And allow yourself to let go and become a little bit more relaxed.

Gently scanning your body,

Starting from your head,

Release any tension in your forehead,

In your cheeks and your jaw.

Allow your neck to become more relaxed,

Letting any tension just melt away.

As you allow your shoulders to fall away from your ears,

Your arms become heavy,

Relaxing the bicep,

Tricep and forearms,

Relaxing your hands,

And then releasing any tension in your chest and your upper back.

Relaxing your belly.

Don't hold on to anything here.

Release the tension in your lower back,

Around your hips.

Start to relax your thighs,

Your calves.

And then finally,

Your feet.

Allow your entire body to feel this state of calmness,

This state of relaxation.

Feeling completely at peace.

Now I'd like you to visualize yourself in a peaceful place,

Somewhere where you feel completely at ease.

This could be at a beach,

In the forest,

In a meadow,

Any place that brings you comfort.

Visualize the details of this place,

The sights,

The sounds and the smells.

And just spend a few moments now enjoying this serene environment,

Allowing it to bring you even more calmness,

Even more relaxation.

And if your mind starts to wander,

That's okay.

Just smile and gently bring it back to this calm and peaceful place.

And then repeat silently after me.

I am calm and relaxed.

I release all stress and tension.

I am at peace.

Feel these affirmations resonate within you,

Bringing you a deeper sense of relaxation.

And once again,

Repeat silently after me.

I am calm and relaxed.

I release all stress and tension.

I am at peace.

Notice how this feels in your body.

Notice yourself becoming more relaxed.

Notice yourself letting go of any tension.

And without changing anything here,

Just bring your attention back to your breath.

Start to notice the air coming in and out of your nostrils.

Notice the pace of your breath.

No need to control it here.

Just observe the natural rhythm of the in and out.

If your mind starts to wander,

Just smile.

Bring your attention back to your breath.

And when you're ready,

Just start to blink open your eyes.

Gently gazing towards the floor.

Very slowly coming back into the space.

Thank you very much for joining me today.

I hope you're feeling more calm and less stressed.
