Our days are often so packed with meetings, tasks, and activities. This meditation will help bring a mindful moment to your day, where you can stop and just breathe. You will feel regulated, and then be invited to set an intention for the next step in your day.

Welcome everybody.

I'm so glad you decided to take this time for yourself today.

This short meditation can be used between meetings,

Or a break between tasks.

You can use this for a little reset any time of day.

So let's sit comfortably,

Letting your shoulders drop and your jaw unclench.

And I invite you to either close your eyes or rest your gaze softly ahead.

Taking a few slow,

Easy breaths,

Not forcing them,

Just letting the air move in and out naturally.

With each exhale,

Imagine your body settling a little more deeply into the chair.

Noticing where you're holding tension,

Maybe in your face,

Your neck,

Your chest,

And inviting those areas to soften.

Letting your attention rest gently on your breathing,

Or the simple feeling of being here now in this moment.

If your mind starts planning or replaying the last meeting,

Just notice it and come back to your breath.

Feel the weight of your body supported by the surface beneath you and the floor beneath your feet.

Noticing the sounds around you,

Not needing to fix it,

Just allowing it to be.

Taking a slow breath in through your nose.

And out through your mouth like a straw.

I invite you to choose a simple intention for whatever is coming next in your day.

It could be,

I'll stay calm and open.

I'll be focused in this next task.

Or I'll bring ease into this next meeting.

Taking another breath here.

Breathing in through your nose.

And out through your mouth like a straw.

And with this intention fresh in your mind.

When you're ready,

You may gently open your eyes and stretch your body.

Thank you so much for slowing down with me today.
