Welcome to your reconnection to your body.
To begin,
Take a few deep breaths slowly and steadily in through the nose and out through the mouth.
You may find it comfortable to place your palms face down on your stomach as you do this to feel the breath moving through your body.
This amazing body of yours has walked you through life and brought you to today.
This beautiful body of yours has been the vehicle through which you have had so many experiences.
It has allowed you to touch,
Sense,
See,
Experience,
And engage with the world.
We have so many incredible senses running through our bodies,
And we use different parts of those senses every day to engage with the world,
Our life,
Our loved ones,
Our sense of purpose or mission,
Our spirit,
Our healing,
Our learning.
This magnificent body of yours has carried you through a journey of evolution and growth with every year you have lived,
And it keeps changing and forming.
This body of yours is its own universe,
Constantly changing and constantly in movement.
Can you befriend this moving body of yours?
Can you open up to a loving and honoring relationship with your body?
It wants to connect with you deeply,
And it wants to connect you as deeply as you can,
As deeply as you wish to the world and to your life.
It may be the keeper of some of your secrets,
Some of your life experiences that you have not shared with others or have struggled to let go of,
But the body wants to keep going as long as your soul does.
The body wants to keep leading you into greater experiences of who you are,
And you cannot explore your consciousness without this beautiful body of yours,
So just take a few moments to lay your hands on different parts of your body,
Perhaps rub your arm along your leg,
Parts of your torso.
Use your fingers or parts of your body to experience your head,
Your face.
Make contact with this incredible body of yours.
Recognize it is present and aware in every moment.
Even if you feel disconnected from your body because of your mind or past experiences,
Your body is here for you,
Aware,
Waiting for you to surrender to the love it gives you every day,
And for you to surrender to the love you can give to it every day.
