Welcome.

Gently find your seat and when you are ready,

Allowing the eyes to close.

And let's begin by taking a few full breaths at your own rhythm.

When you are ready,

Breathing in and when you exhale,

Exhaling slowly,

Hold the air from your lungs.

Doing so a few times and then allowing your breath to come back to its natural dense.

And with each breath in and each breath out,

Allowing yourself to embody life,

To be fully present with your being as it is,

With life as it is.

And with your attention,

Awareness resting onto your breath,

Letting go of the past,

Letting go of the future,

Letting go of your to-do list of worries,

Letting go of anything that is not serving you at the moment.

And see if instead when you breathe in,

See if you can invite the quality that you are longing for,

Maybe peace,

Ease,

Serenity,

Joy,

Belonging,

Health,

Well-being.

Letting the quality that you are longing for and let it be known in your body.

Let it be received with each breath.

Breathing in ease,

Breathing out I am ease.

Breathing in joy,

Breathing out I am joy.

If you notice your mind wandering,

Gently invited back and maybe murmuring this gentle mantra,

Breathing in with the quality that you hope for,

Breathing out I am ease,

I am joy,

I am peace.

Breathing in.

Maybe inviting a smile onto your lips,

In your heart,

In the corner of your eyes.

Breathing in ease,

Breathing out I am ease.

Breathing in well-being,

Breathing out I am well-being.

Now if you are using this gentle mantra,

Letting it go,

And bring a hand or both onto your heart space.

And imagining that you are breathing in the palm of your hands,

Feeling the warmth of being held.

Remembering the smile.

And now taking this moment to remember something that you are grateful for that happened today.

Even if your day just started,

What are you grateful for in this moment?

So bring this to mind and be with your gratitude for just a moment.

Feel it in your body,

Feel it in your heart.

And gently whispering thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

And now inviting into your mind heart something that you appreciate about yourself.

It might be something that you just did,

Sitting to meditate a few minutes.

It might be a discussion that you had with somebody that you are proud of.

Anything there's no small thing to be proud of or to appreciate about ourself.

And if nothing comes to mind,

Then simply think about your smile.

Just that and be grateful for it.

Taking this moment to thank yourself for being who you are.

Thanking yourself for the good deeds that you bring into this world.

Thank you for the light that you shine.

No matter if you feel low,

No matter if you feel high,

You are it.

The light and the love.

You have never been anything different.

Thank you.

Maybe allowing a full breath,

Releasing your hand into your lap.

Gently inviting again this smile on your lips and your heart in the corner of your eyes.

And when you're ready,

Gently blinking the eyes open,

Taking the colors,

The light,

The shape back into your being.

Taking your time always,

There's no rush.

The rush is only in the mind.

May you be well and happy.

A delightful and deceptively simple meditation. Thank you.
