Spirit Animal Guided Journey

This journey begins with a guided body scan relaxation and transports the listener to a magical forest. Feel the sun, walk upon the earth, and connect with the mountains, trees, and water. Once we are settled and in a deeply meditative state, your spirit animal will appear to you.

So let's find a nice relaxed seated posture.

You're welcome to lie down flat as well although it looks like you guys have a nice comfortable posture there.

So letting the shoulders stack above the hips,

Softening through the back,

Softening the arms,

Letting the legs relax,

Drawing your attention to your breath,

Feeling the expansion of the lungs,

Feeling the ribcage open and the shoulders rise with the breath.

Notice how the lungs expand in three dimensions and continue softening into that,

Letting the breath naturally stack and align the spine.

Allow the head to be cradled above the neck.

Your eyes can be closed or you can gaze at one singular point,

Softening through the face,

Allowing the lips to curl into a gentle smile,

That easy smile of the Buddha,

Comfortable and contemplative,

Relaxed and joyous.

And notice the quality of the mind and as thoughts do come up you can simply label these thoughts thinking and return to the body and return to the breath.

Breathing in simply explore what sensations arrive for you in this moment and breathing out dissolving into that feeling into the body,

Feeling into the heart rate,

Noticing the temperature of the air and as thoughts arise you can simply label them thinking and let them float by like clouds passing in the sky,

Returning to this moment,

Returning to the breath,

Letting the breath be natural and fluid,

Releasing control of the breath in witnessing yourself be breathed,

Witnessing and noticing that you do not need to consciously breathe and yet you can watch yourself be breathed.

What is that experience like for you?

What does it feel like?

And as thoughts arise simply label them thinking and return to the present moment.

And now from this moment draw your attention to the crown of your head,

The highest point on your body,

And allow that to open,

Allow that to bud and blossom and flower,

Allow there to be a shiny white dot at the crown of your head which grows with light becoming an orb,

Radiant golden light emanating from this orb as the light becomes brighter and the orb grows you feel its warmth,

You see it radiating a myriad of colors shining down upon you,

This is your connection to source,

Your alignment,

This is collective consciousness,

This is the compassion of the universe,

Radiant,

Vibrant,

And powerful,

And then allow this orb at your crown to dissolve and melt into a flowing luminous liquid rolling down,

Rolling down your face,

Softening the forehead,

Just allow this relaxation and this ease to soften the corners of the eyes,

Relaxing through the face,

Relaxing the jaw,

And relaxing the head and the neck,

We'll continue to relax down the body feeling the shoulders and then allowing them to simply soften and relax,

Letting this sensation melt down the arms to the elbows,

The forearms,

The wrists,

And allow your wrists to unwind and soften,

Relaxing through each fingertip,

And then breathing into the chest,

With the exhale the chest softens,

Relaxing your core,

Your abdomen is at ease,

Bringing peace to the internal organs,

Allowing them to relax as well,

Softening the belly as the breath is naturally drawn deeper,

And then allowing the back to relax all the way down from the neck through the upper back,

Middle,

Lower back,

All the way down to the tail bone,

Allowing every vertebrae in the space in between to soften and expand and be at ease,

Feeling gravity gently hug the body down to the earth,

This relaxation flows through your hips into the upper legs,

Relaxing through your lower body,

Softening the knees and the calves and the ankles,

Noticing the ankles and the feet unwind,

Each toe relaxes,

And now envision your whole body relaxed,

Mentally scanned through the body,

And as any tension arises in the body,

Allow that to dissolve,

Allowing any tension to melt,

Any sensation to relax,

Absorbing and dissolving into the breath,

Flowing down,

Flowing down,

Relaxing deeper and deeper with each breath,

And now imagine yourself standing in a beautiful grassy field,

Above you is a clear open blue sky,

And a bright radiant sun,

You feel the warmth of the sun shining upon your face and body,

Standing barefoot on the grass and the earth,

Well balanced,

You feel the dirt beneath your bare feet,

Feeling the breeze against your skin,

You feel very at home in this peaceful place,

Gazing around you take a look at your surroundings,

You see mountain peaks off to your right,

You see a forest off to your left,

And you see that about 20 paces in front of you there's an entrance to this forest,

You see a small path,

And so you begin to step towards this forest one step at a time,

With each step relaxing deeper and deeper,

And as you approach the forest you see birds in the trees and you hear a bird song noticing what else do you hear,

And as you get closer you begin to see small animals,

Squirrels,

Perhaps deer in the forest,

Noticing what else do you see,

And you approach the entrance to the forest,

The bird song is welcoming,

And so you step onto the path,

Dry leaves crinkle in twigs gently snap beneath your bare feet as you take one step then another onto this path,

Walking through the woods what do the trees look like,

Feeling beams of sunlight shine down upon you through the sparse canopy above,

Smelling the air here,

Clean crisp and fertile,

The smell of the forest,

And as you continue walking you hear the sound of water a babbling stream,

Intuitively following the sound it becomes louder,

And now you approach the entrance to a small clearing and you see the stream gently cascading down from the mountains,

Approaching the stream its water is crisp and clear,

You see beautiful smooth rocks lining the creek bed,

Noticing the reflection of the sunlight and the beautiful green trees reflected and shimmering in this creek,

In this stream water,

You reach your hands into the water and the feeling is peaceful and calm,

A beautiful contrast to the warmth of the Sun,

And so you cup your hands together,

Drawing up some water and you lean forward,

Taking your palms to your lips and you sip on this water,

Its taste is perfect,

And so you swallow and this cool,

Crisp,

Refreshing water travels down into your stomach,

Into your belly,

Where you feel a sense of peace and tranquility arise,

Drinking more of this mountain water,

This sense of peace and serenity expands and fills your entire body,

Your entire essence,

Taking more of this water up,

You wash it upon your face and hair,

Cleansing your face,

Washing away all that does not serve you with this pure water of spirits,

Feeling refreshed,

Feeling open,

Feeling whole,

You gaze around,

Notice what you see,

Notice how you feel,

You see a large flat rock by the stream and you approach this rock and you sit down or you lie down,

It is well warmed by the Sun,

Just the right temperature and just the right shape to gently cradle your body,

So finding your comfortable position on this rock,

You relax,

Integrating your experience,

Listening to the stream,

Smelling the forest,

Feeling the sunlight upon you,

Deeply knowing your connection to nature,

Sensing your connection to spirits and you feel that you are being watched,

You sense that there is a presence in front of you and so you gently sit up keeping the eyes closed and then you slowly open your eyes,

The eyes of the third eye and you see in front of you in this forest is your spirit animal,

Your spirit animal gazes lovingly at you with deep understanding and admiration and you gaze back into the eyes of your spirit animal with curiosity,

Love and admiration as well,

Holding this contact,

This eye gazing,

You see your soul in the eyes of your spirit animal,

You recognize that this guide of yours has always been with you and as you feel their unconditional love and appreciation for you and you reciprocate that to them with your eyes and with your smile,

You sense this deep connection,

This bond between worlds and you sense that your spirit animal has a message for you and so noticing how your spirit animal wants to communicate that message,

Seeing any movements that they make,

Noticing how they look,

Any sounds that your spirit animal makes,

Noticing how your spirit animal is able to communicate to you without using words and without using sounds,

Although they may use those as well,

Holding their gaze,

Open your hearts to receive this message.

What does your spirit animal want to tell you?

What advice do they have for you?

What blessings and affirmations are they offering you right now?

You your spirit guide begins to walk a bit closer to you and they close their eyes and you close your eyes and you lean your forehead forward and they press their forehead to your forehead and you feel this connection between your third eye.

What does that feel like?

And then slowly they take a few steps back and open their eyes and you open your eyes gazing at your spirit guide smiling taking it in.

They give you a nod,

A namaste,

Gaze up at you one more time and then slowly turn and they make their way back into the forest and you continue to integrate this experience staying relaxed taking in the forest remembering the message of your spirit guide taking a few more moments in this place perhaps you explore perhaps you return to the water perhaps you gaze up at the sky saying your farewell to this place for now knowing that it is always with you knowing that your spirit guides you knowing that your spirit guide is always within you you return to the rock and relax and allow the scene this whole setting this experience to dissolve into warm healing vibrant light melting and cascading into your heart space breathing it into your heart space and holding it there inhaling and exhaling taking some deeper breaths breathing in and out letting your breath draw you back to this place and this time inhaling and exhaling filling up the belly filling the chest and filling the collar exhaling smoothly and audibly breathing in three-part breath exhale softening and letting go wiggling the fingers and the toes rolling the wrists and the ankles rolling the shoulders rolling the neck reaching the arms up stretching through the fingers whatever movements feel good for you bringing you back to that present moment awareness let's take three cleansing breaths and an own to close inhale and exhale breathing in and releasing deepest breath yet today take it all in and let it all go inhale I invite you to join me in a closing own to seal the deal let's bring the hands to the hearts the light the love the breath in the journey in me sees the light the love the breath in the journey and you both thank you namaste
