Join me as we walk through breaking down your greatest fear into a core fear. You may be surprised to discover your greatest fear and your core fear look very different. Once you know your core fear you can face it and take small steps to walk through it, and conquer your fear. Lifting your fear allows the need for control to dissipate. Letting go of fear, allows you to let go of control and just let things unfold as they are meant to unfold.

Hi,

I'm Lori and welcome to this guided meditation to help you release fear and control out of your life.

Let's start by finding a quiet location where you won't be disturbed.

You can sit upright in a chair,

Kicking off your shoes or you can lay on the bed or a couch,

It doesn't really matter.

When you're ready,

I want you to close your eyes and just breathe normally.

Just pay attention to your breath and how it feels as you inhale and exhale.

And with every exhale,

Try to soften your muscles,

Try and relax your muscles,

Releasing any stress or tension that may be close to the surface.

Now I'd like you to visualize a silver cord starting to grow out of the base of your skull,

Lovingly starting to wrap itself around the spinal column in your neck,

Wrapping down into the space between your shoulder blades,

Wrapping down into your middle back and down into your lower back.

Keep wrapping down right to the tip of your tailbone.

Then visualize this silver cord coming out of your tailbone and moving directly down into and through the floor and into the earth beneath where you are sitting or laying.

Allow and visualize this silver cord to go deep into Mother Earth,

Branching out and really anchoring you into the ground.

When you're ready,

We're going to start pulling up that Mother Earth grounding energy with every inhale.

So when you're ready,

Take a breath in and breathe that Mother Earth energy up into the silver cord.

With every inhale,

Allow the energy to flow up into the silver cord and start working up your spine from the tailbone with every inhale,

Pulling that energy up more and more,

Enabling your entire body,

All the cells to be able to absorb some of that Mother Earth energy.

Visualize the energy from Mother Earth going up and around the spine,

All around right up into your neck and then watch how it dissipates outward into every cell.

Feel it slowly moving into your organs and your limbs.

Keep pulling it up your spine and into your body and into your head.

Just allow the Mother Earth energy to ground every cell of your body.

Good.

We want you grounded for this process,

So keep breathing in the visual of pulling the energy up through the earth,

Through the silver cord and into your body,

Balancing and grounding your body.

We are now going to tackle one main fear,

Just one.

So I want you to bring your greatest fear to the forefront of your mind and think about it.

Give it a label.

Now I want you to ask yourself,

Why is this my greatest fear?

So fill in the blank,

This is my greatest fear because.

.

.

And then I want you to just sit in the answer for a moment and really think about that,

What it feels like,

What it looks like.

Good.

Now that you know what your greatest fear is and why it's your greatest fear,

I want you to ask yourself,

So what?

By asking,

So what,

You start breaking down that fear.

Now I want you to think about,

Okay,

Then what?

Break it down further.

What will happen?

Then what?

Just think about it.

Now I want you to ask yourself again,

Okay,

Then what?

Now the last time I want you to ask yourself,

Okay,

And then what?

The answer that you just came up with is your greatest fear broken down to its core level.

This is what's known as your core fear and it may look completely different than your greatest fear you started with and that's okay.

This is your core fear.

I want you to think about it and I want you to think about this core fear and decide is it a core fear or is it a limiting belief?

And if it's a limiting belief,

Do you have any awareness of where it came from?

Is it a programmed belief from your parents or grandparents?

Is it maybe from your own experience or a society norm?

Your core fear is either just that or a limiting belief.

So just breathe and let your mind wander and think about that.

Is there an experience or evidence to justify this core fear or this limiting belief?

Is this fear a justifiable,

Rational fear or just a belief hidden in fear?

Beliefs are not truths.

They are just beliefs.

What is the worst thing that will happen if you face your core fear?

Are there steps you can take today to start working through your core fear?

Visualize what you could start doing today.

What would it look like?

What would it feel like?

What are you doing exactly?

Is there anything else you can do?

Take a few moments and think about your options and opportunities to face this core fear head on.

Visualize them as they come to mind.

What do they look like?

What do they feel like?

Just take a few moments and think about it.

What do they feel like?

What do they feel like?

Now visualize one small action that you could start doing today to help you step out of your comfort zone in a safe way and start walking through that core fear.

Just one small thing you could do starting today.

Now are you ready to commit?

Are you ready to step out of that comfort zone and commit to one small step to start working through that core fear?

Take a moment now and commit to yourself to help me walk through my core fear I commit to fill in the blank.

Good,

We are moving the energy,

We are breaking down the fear,

We are finding underlying things to the fear and coming up with small solutions to be able to walk through that fear.

Now we are going to wrap things up with a few positive affirmations.

So quietly in your head repeat after me.

I am becoming the change I want to see in my life.

I am becoming the change I want to see in my life.

I am facing my fears with joy,

Ease and grace.

I am facing my fears with joy,

Ease and grace.

Life unfolds as it is meant to unfold with or without me.

Life unfolds as it is meant to unfold with or without me.

Letting go of fear is empowering.

Control is an illusion.

There is nothing to fear,

I am safe.

I surrender and go to acceptance with ease.

Walking through your core fear and into a new beginning,

Letting go of control so you may witness life unfolding as it is meant to unfold for you and your higher learning and your higher growing.

Feel free to use this meditation as many times as you need to,

Working through each one of your fears.

The key is to break the fear down into your core fear and work with that.
