Understanding Your Personal Spiritual Awakening

Namaste and welcome to the Spirit Rooms daily podcast, In the Flow with Laurie Albert, Where we discuss spirituality, Meditate, And allow positivity to envelop every aspect of our souls. Welcome. I know a lot of people that are becoming spiritually awakened and are really freaked out by it. So I really felt like I was supposed to come on here again and let's talk about this. I want to share some insight on it to help. You know, I teach development. I've seen all of this and what's really fascinating is all of the spiritual, I swear to you it's called, It's a thing, Spiritual flu. You know, I know so many people that are in the development phase of their spiritual gifts and just their own spirituality and are having these spiritual flu-like symptoms. You know, What is that exactly? All right, Are you ready? Because it fluctuates obviously from person to person. You may be noticing that you are questioning everything. Do you feel like you're questioning everything from your life to meditation, To your marriage, To your job, Everything. But I will say don't take any drastic steps to change your life just yet, Okay? Because there may be a reason for what you are feeling. I mean this is what I teach, Spiritual development, Right? I've seen everything, Oh my gosh, Lately and you guys may understand this, So many of my students are experiencing headaches and I mean like debilitating, You know, Migraine, Headaches. That is a big thing, Right? I should just do a whole like thing on Kundalini, But Kundalini is like, It's this type of energy that is coiled kind of like a snake, I hate to say it, But at the base of your spine, Okay? And it sits there and then when you start like awakening the energy and the Kundalini, It rises up. The trick to that is to get it to to the top of your head, The trick to that is to get it to to rise slowly. If it rises too fast, All of this stuff starts happening, Okay? And so that's just one way that all of this stuff is happening, Okay? Then, You know, It's interesting because we're in the middle of this mass sort of awakening. However, What's fascinating about it is this, There is so much energy going on, We just had a full moon and the eclipse and blah blah blah all of that stuff. And I wanted to tell you that you're not alone. If you're sitting here listening to this today, You know, You're not alone. So what I want to tell you about is a few, Just a few of the strange things that Spirit has impressed upon me to tell you, Okay? So, And it's interesting because there's a whole, Like I could write a book on just the symptoms, Okay? However, These are the few that I feel like I was supposed to talk about today. Obviously the headaches, Which I understand that many of you are having. If you're having crazy dreams, Or if you feel like you see the world, Or if you feel like you see Spirit shadows, Like just off in the, You kind of, You know, One of those where you kind of just go, Whoa, What did I just see? That happened to me, All that, It still happens to me. You know, I'll be like, What, What? You know? If you're feeling that your mood is fluctuating, You feel like, And I'm just going to say this because this is real, Right? When you feel like that the world is out to get you. I mean, Seriously, Like you feel like the world is out to get you, And you don't understand why, Because this is not your normal way of being, But all of a sudden you feel like that everything's happening, And you're having these nutty dreams that are just like, Wait, What? Are you considering life more? Like your life? You may be searching, Searching for something that you aren't even sure what you're searching for, But you know that you want answers. I know I'm pushing buttons here, I know it, Because Spirit is the only way to get you. I know it because Spirit, You guys have to know by this point that Spirit pretty much channels all of these talks, Right? But I want to share a couple of things about this, Okay? Please don't allow fear to drive this process. Now you guys know I talk about fear all the time. Fear is the lowest emotion on the emotional scale. It's lower than hate. The most destructive thing, Emotion that you can have, Worse than like jealousy, Is fear. Allowing fear to creep in, You can't. Even if you're in the middle of a blinding headache, Don't allow the fear to sit, To grab hold of you, Okay? How do we not do this, Right? How do we not allow fear to drive this, Right? Well, You may be feeling alone and lost and that no one understands what you're going through, Whether it's spiritually or otherwise. And here's the biggest thing about spiritual awakening. You are craving truth. Truth not just like in your own spirituality or whatever, But truth in relationships, Truth in what you're reading, Truth in how to develop your spirituality, Whatever that looks like. Because your own spirituality is very, Very personal, Okay? You just are craving that truth. So all of these things and so, So much more might be plaguing you and you don't understand why this is happening. So here's what I want to say on how to help to deal with this, Right? Two things really. They're big things, But two things. So the number one thing is find a spiritual teacher that you vibe with. Whether it's on Inside Timer or whether it's on wherever, Doesn't have to be me. I don't care. But what I'm saying is, Is that find a spiritual teacher that you vibe with. Now that might be somebody that's helping you develop your mediumship or your intuition, But it might also be, I'm just throwing this out there, Might also be someone that helps you to understand the ancient spiritual texts and where all of this got started. Right? Look around and begin to trust yourself, Begin to trust yourself and the feelings that you're having regarding a spiritual teacher, Meditation teacher, Whatever, Whoever you feel like you vibe with, Okay? That is so important because that's part of how you begin to trust yourself. You know, You're starting to learn to trust yourself and your intuition. Okay, Now the next thing that you, And I know I talk about this all the time, But it's so important. Meditation. Sitting in meditation. Here's the thing about meditation. Meditation is like that and, Well, I'll get into that mediumship being kind of a foundational thing at some other point, But meditation is like that and well, I'll get into that mediumship being kind of a fundamental point, But meditation is a foundation. Knowing that the answers that you are seeking are within you and how you find those answers is through meditation and really, Whoever it is, Whatever it is, However it sits within you, Your truth, Finding the truth for you because your truth is going to be different than my truth. I feel so, It's so interesting how Spirit leads me to talk about these things because it is truly incredible what is happening on the planet right now. Okay, So doing these things to help you along spiritually, Allow yourself, Allowing is how you're going to find those answers. Sitting in meditation is the how, Right? Now, Understanding your feelings, Journaling, However that feels for you in the moment, Surrendering to the process of your own spiritual well-being. Okay, So that is really what I wanted to say about this because there are answers there. It's so highly personalized, Individualized, You know, But it's there for you. Okay, So what we're going to do is we're going to sit in meditation and I want you to, We're going to sit in the stillness. What I want you to do is sit in the stillness. I want you to sit in the stillness. I want you to sit in the stillness. And I want you to, We're going to sit in the stillness. What I want you to do, I'm going to turn on some music and we're just going to really sit like I'm not going to talk you through it, Nothing like that. I want you simply to say thank you. Okay, I simply want you to say over and over to yourself, Thank you. Okay, All right, So let's get ourselves comfortable. Okay, Get yourself comfortable, Take a few really beautiful deep breaths and now just allow yourself to sit in the stillness. I will keep the time and I will bring you out, But allow yourself to feel spirit. So so so so so so so so so so so Let's begin to bring ourselves back to the chair where we're sitting in, Saying thank you to spirit. We thank you spirit. Namaste.
