Namaste and welcome to the Spirit Room's daily podcast,
In the Flow with Lori Albert,
Where we discuss spirituality,
Meditate,
And allow positivity to envelop every aspect of our souls.
Welcome!
This week's energy was pretty challenging.
I don't know if everybody felt that or not.
I know I did.
And when I say challenging,
I mean kind of more like on the emotional side,
To be honest.
Like emotional side and yeah,
It wasn't challenging like physically or anything.
It was challenging like going deep within,
Right?
And to be honest with you,
All of March seems to have been like that.
I have to say what I love about being a Lightworker is understanding that much goes on in my life without me even realizing it.
I really think that this coming week,
I've been sort of told,
Right,
That this coming week will be a kind of portal for us to use what we've been learning consciously and subconsciously throughout this past month.
It's been a serious,
Insightful time.
And this next coming week,
It's going to,
In a sense,
Come full circle,
Meaning that all the downloads and all the insights that we've been receiving about ourselves,
As much as about anything else,
Will begin to be put to use within our woke state,
If you will.
Incredible.
So this next week should be super fantastic.
You know,
I want to say that all the lessons and thoughts that we've been having recently are just the start of us beginning to understand who we are and who we are meant to be.
A lot was channeled to me this morning in my meditation that I do.
Oh my gosh,
Absolutely amazing,
Right?
Here's the thing.
When something crappy happens,
Like whether it's a fender bender or a situation with a coworker or even burnt dinner,
To be honest,
Stuff like that,
Right?
This week,
We are going to be called to stand up,
Understand that we are in a higher state of grace than what those situations might have us be otherwise.
We get the opportunity to be who we are to be as our highest self.
Doesn't that sound so good?
It sounds,
To me,
It's the sound of transformation,
Obviously.
You know,
Sometimes we live kind of two lives,
Right?
There's the first life where we are,
We sit in that meditative state,
Right?
Where we are,
We feel that transformation by the lessons that Spirit teaches us and we get these downloads from Spirit and we feel completely shifted and life is great.
Yeah,
Isn't that awesome?
When you're sitting in meditation,
You feel,
Right?
But then there's the other part of our life,
Sort of,
Dare I say it this way,
But like the real life,
Which is actually more of the physical life is really what I want to say,
Where there's dirty dishes in the sink.
Our spouse comes home totally irritated.
The kids get in trouble at school.
You got to go to school and make an appearance,
Right?
That's life.
So here's the thing.
It's the joining together of these two worlds that makes our lives complete.
Isn't that amazing?
Spirit has been really impressing upon this to me in the last like week or so,
But it kind of seems like it's all kind of coming full circle right now,
Which I love.
How do we bring these two worlds together?
That's where our Sanskrit meditation comes in today.
You'll see in a minute,
Right?
How do we bring together this transformative state,
This world of transformation and our worldly self,
The one where we have responsibilities and jobs and kids and spouses and all of that,
Right?
How do we bring those two together?
First off,
Morning meditation is the way to do it.
That's the way to set up your day on a positive note.
You start it out where it's a positive thing.
So when you meditate,
You're using a mantra.
And when you do that,
It can be so effective on helping all of this along.
When you sleep,
Your brain goes to that resting place.
So when we're asleep,
That resting place is kind of a place of joy.
This helps us.
So using a mantra and meditating first thing in the morning allows us to meet any situation with just that little bit more calm.
When we meditate first thing,
We become grounded in a way that gives us the strength to handle these things.
All of that craziness that we face.
This is why I love Sanskrit mantras.
So today,
We are going to meditate on this.
I saved my favorite for last.
I probably said it was my favorite all week.
But my favorite Sanskrit mantra is Sat-Chit-Ananda.
And what that means is truth,
Consciousness,
Bliss.
I mean,
Does it get any better than that?
That's kind of how I.
.
.
That's like what I want to feel 24-7.
Obviously,
You can't feel that way 24-7.
Again,
You need the lows to appreciate the highs.
So when we repeat this mantra throughout your day,
We're going to do a meditation here in a second.
But when you do it,
You repeat it throughout the day,
You're inviting in truth and consciousness and ultimately then bliss.
Every time I use this mantra,
My day feels lighter and I feel more grounded.
I feel like I have merged the worldly life and my spiritual life.
So let's get comfortable because we're going to meditate.
We're going to do this.
Okay?
So let's get ourselves comfortable.
Sit however it feels right for you.
I know I say that every single time.
Sit however it feels right for you.
Today,
I'm sitting cross-legged with my hands draped over my knees.
But whatever it works for you is how it works.
That's the way.
.
.
That's the best way for you.
So let's take a nice deep breath in.
Slowly and release.
Allowing ourselves to begin to feel that relaxation.
That stress-free life that we so crave.
Our mantra for today is Sat Chit Ananda.
And what that means is truth,
Consciousness,
Bliss.
And that's the bringing together of the worlds.
Sat Chit Ananda.
So as we relax our bodies and invite in these gorgeous emotions,
Truth,
Consciousness,
Bliss.
Sitting in the stillness for just a few minutes.
Inviting it in.
And let's begin.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
You may want to place your hand on your heart.
Breathing in this beautiful energy of truth,
Consciousness,
Bliss.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Let us start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Knowing that we can take this mantra with us all day long.
Sat Chit Ananda.
Let's take a deep breath in very slow.
Breathing in all of this truth,
Blissful energy.
And release.
Namaste.
