Has it been a trying week for everybody else too?
You are not alone.
I have heard from so,
So many people that they are feeling down and exhausted and troubled,
Unheard and they're questioning like everything.
Everything from their life choices to their careers and partners and food choices.
Food choices,
Yes.
It seems like a lot of people are questioning just like everything.
This energy this past week has been,
This past little while has been so challenging.
So many people are experiencing,
And I hate to say it you guys,
But a lot of people are experiencing ascension symptoms.
Now those symptoms can include like headaches and dizziness and heart palpitations.
I get that.
I get that a lot.
Eye issues,
Waking up at 3 a.
M.
,
A little extra anxiety more so than normal,
And so,
So much more.
So,
So much more.
That's why they call it the spiritual flu because you're kind of not really sick,
But you're kind of like,
Oh,
What's going on?
Something's happening,
Right?
And first of all,
Before I even go any further,
Let me say that you should always see if there's any question at all,
Always go see a healthcare professional.
Okay,
That is very important to do.
I am a huge proponent of all medicine.
I think there's a place for it all,
Whether it be Western,
Eastern,
Holistic,
Spiritual,
All of it,
Okay?
And I say that all today because today I want to talk about self-care and grounding.
Grounding yourself.
It's not just about taking your shoes off and walking on the earth.
It is that,
But it's not just that,
Okay?
And I really feel like that,
I really feel like that really understanding how to ground ourself can help with some of those ascension symptoms,
Okay?
And grounding ourself is essential to your wellbeing physically,
Emotionally,
Spiritually,
All of it,
Okay?
It's not,
And what it is,
It's also about breathing in the air,
Feeling the earth,
And feeling the connection that we have to it.
So one of the best things that you can do to start the connection with the earth is to become mindful,
Okay?
So one of the things that I like to do is to just sit in the present,
Sit outside on the ground,
Not even on the concrete,
On the grass,
Okay?
And get present to where I am on this earth and feel the oneness with mother nature.
It's so essential to do that.
So yeah,
Taking your shoes off and walking barefoot on the earth is great,
But it's mental as well,
Okay?
So feel the earth beneath your feet,
Touch the leaves on the trees and the bushes,
Understand that we are truly,
I'm just gonna say it this way,
We are truly just a small speck in this universe on the earth.
We are part of the earth and it is part of us.
Feel the connection and the gratitude.
That's another thing.
We are part of this amazingly beautiful earth and becoming aware of our personal relationship with the earth,
It can ground us profoundly.
Now some people think that that's crazy and that's what I love,
Right?
I love when people are like,
What?
What are you talking about?
So there's another thing that you can do too.
Breathing.
Your breath is so key.
Obviously we breathe,
You know,
Constantly.
As we live our lives,
But when we pay attention to our breath and feel that cool air coming down into our lungs and you can feel it sometimes go all the way down to your feet.
That helps you to understand and feel the oneness as well.
I mean the benefits of doing this are incredible.
This can help with stress and pain and sleep issues.
And you may feel,
Hopefully,
A lightening of your mood and your emotions.
Let's get ready to sit in meditation for this deeply grounding meditation.
So,
With everything that I'm going to say in this meditation,
Try to do it all with intention.
And what I mean by that is feel it all.
Yes,
Today we are going to meditate for grounding.
Love this.
So start to get yourself comfy because we're going to meditate.
This might be a little bit longer than we normally go.
Little bit,
You know,
Five,
Eight minutes,
Something like that.
So get ready.
Get comfortable.
However that looks for you.
Sitting cross-legged,
Lying down.
However it looks for you.
Now I want you to close your eyes very gently.
Start to pay attention to your breath.
Feel the in and out of your breath.
As you begin to slow your breathing,
Feeling the connection to the earth.
As you breathe in,
Feel it spread,
That air deep within your being.
All the way down to your feet.
And begin to feel the connection with the earth.
Let's focus on our breath for just a few moments.
Breathing in and out very slowly and intentionally.
Now I'd like for you to imagine roots growing out from the bottom of your body.
Of your feet.
Growing all the way into the core of the earth.
Feel yourself connecting.
Deep down to the earth's core.
And begin to feel the connection with the earth.
Let's start to feel and accept the energy that mother earth has to offer us.
Becoming aware of this beautiful healing,
Grounding energy.
And begin to feel the connection with the earth.
Now let's imagine this incredible energy coming up into our root chakra.
Feel the energy coming into your root chakra.
And moving up just a bit to the other chakras,
Start to feel that beautiful grounding energy strengthening and energizing every chakra.
Our sacral chakra.
The solar plexus.
The heart chakra.
The throat.
Your third eye.
And your crown.
And now let's sit for a few moments feeling the complete connection to mother earth.
And begin to feel the connection with the earth.
And as we are still alive.
Allowing this energy through our entire being and focusing on our breath.
Let's feel the gratitude.
The gratitude for mother earth.
And our very special connection.
Let me say thank you to mother earth.
Thank you for being and allowing us to connect.
And once again let's take a deep breath in.
Feeling that breath go all the way through your entire being and release it.
Very slowly.
