Poem To Grief

This track is a poem I wrote about grief. Grief is such an interesting emotions, it has the power to crack us open, to shut us down, to wake us up. This poem is for all of us navigating grief, either for the loss of a love one, human, animal, plant, friend or foe.

Grief. Pause between who you were and who I was, And in between. A pause between having you beside me and experiencing the silence you left behind. A pause between looking after you and realizing you're no longer here. Every day I find myself wondering. Where you would be and what you would be doing. Like right now, You would be sleeping on the bed, Belly up, Breathing deeply. Grief. A pass between letting you go and learning how to live without you.
