Preparing yourself for a deep and restful sleep.

And now tuning into how your body feels lying here,
And feeling where your body makes contact with the surface beneath you,
And becoming curious about how it feels to be fully supported here,
Surrendering,
Letting go,
Resting deeper into the surface beneath you.
Inviting you now to tune into your breath.
Just noticing the natural rise and fall of your chest or belly,
Or noticing the sensation of the breath as it moves through the nose,
Observing how it feels to breathe,
No need to change or control the breath,
Allowing the body to breathe itself.
The breath is always there for you as an anchor.
If your mind is carried away with thoughts,
You can gently guide your awareness back to your breath,
Feeling the breath,
Feeling your body fully supported here,
Surrendering,
Letting go,
Allowing sleep to come.
