The intention of this heart chakra meditation is to bring awareness to your heart,
The energy of your heart space,
And to strengthen your connection to self-love,
Loving others,
And the unconditional love of the universe.
And there's also an intention of cultivating a deeper sense of unconditional self-acceptance and trust in yourself and the wisdom that your heart has to offer you.
So to begin,
I invite you to get yourself comfortable wherever you are,
Sitting on a cushion on the floor or a chair,
Perhaps lying down,
Taking a moment to feel into what would be best for you today.
If you're sitting down,
Noticing where the body makes contact with your seat,
Perhaps rolling the shoulders back,
Lifting the spine up towards your crown.
And if you like,
You can close your eyes or you can keep them open,
Whatever feels best for you today.
And wherever you are,
Feeling the earth beneath you,
Supporting you here.
I invite you now into a visualization in your mind's eye.
If visualization is tricky for you,
That's okay.
Just listen to the vibration of my voice and allow the energy of your intention to guide you.
So imagining now that you are walking down a forest path.
Step by step,
Walking deeper into a beautiful,
Lush,
Green forest.
Surrounded by trees,
Plants,
Ferns.
Bright with energy and life force.
A gentle wind blows through the forest and you feel it touch your skin.
Noticing what sounds you can hear.
As you continue along the path,
You spot a clearing and a space to rest.
It looks like this space has been set up just for you.
The space in the forest has all of your comforts and all of the things that you need to feel safe,
Supported and nourished on your journey.
Perhaps there's some cushions and blankets,
A cup of tea,
A glass of water,
Crystals,
Food.
Anything you need,
It's here for you now.
You notice a small wooden box in front of you with your name on it.
And a note that says,
This will help your heart.
Perhaps it's an object or maybe it's a message,
A note or something else.
You hold this box in your hands and just before you open it,
You have a sense of what it might be.
And then you open it and you see what's inside.
You might choose to take it with you back through the forest.
Before you leave,
You take a moment to sit,
Rest and relax in this space,
Perfectly set up for you.
And as you do,
You might invite a sense of gratitude in your heart.
A pulse of energy swirling through your heart space as you breathe in and breathe out.
Starting to notice a beautiful green and pink light glowing and radiating from your heart space.
Inviting you now to bring awareness to the center of your chest.
The energy known as the heart chakra,
Anahata.
This is the center for love,
Compassion,
Acceptance and forgiveness.
The following affirmations are in service to strengthening this energy center.
I am worthy of love.
I'm kind to myself and others.
I forgive myself.
I accept my humanness.
I accept that I have difficulty accepting sometimes.
All parts of me are welcome.
Even the parts that have difficulty forgiving,
Accepting,
Loving.
The parts of me that feel like they're not good enough.
All of these parts are welcome.
I am love.
Inviting you now to take a gentle nourishing breath in and breath out.
And as you slowly start to walk out of this forest,
You notice a glowing energy surrounding you.
Bringing this beautiful glow back into this time and space.
Back into the present moment with you.
Bringing your awareness again to the sounds that you can hear.
The sounds inside of this recording.
The sounds inside or outside the room that you are in.
Noticing where your body makes contact with the earth beneath you.
And feeling yourself grounded and connected to the earth.
And as we come to the end of this meditation,
I invite you to take a moment to reflect on your experience without judging it as good or bad.
Just allowing it to be what it was.
Trusting any messages or insights that you had.
And trusting if no messages came up for you,
That is totally okay too.
Trust in yourself and your intention for healing.
Remembering that you can revisit this space in the forest that is just for you and your heart healing.
And now inviting you to bring some movement back to your body.
Perhaps wiggling the fingers and the toes.
Moving in any way that feels nice for you.
Connecting with your breath.
Allowing the breath to ground you in this moment.
