Release: Self-Doubt, Stepping Into Your Superhero Powers!

Join me for this fun meditation where we release self-doubt by stepping into our own superpowers! We raise the vibration by stepping into our own strengths and gifts and fly away with our love and light to share with the world!

Hey there,

This is Jen with Laughing Lotus Wellness.

Welcome to our meditation practice.

So welcome into our meditation.

Release self-doubt.

And coming to lie down or finding a comfortable seat,

I invite you to allow yourself to sink and settle here.

Finding a very relaxing place to just be at rest.

To begin to deepen and lengthen that breath.

Closing the eyes or softening the gaze.

And making any adjustments to the props,

Body or clothing,

Whatever you need to be that much more comfortable.

And today we're going to begin by just tapping into the layers of your being.

Calling that awareness into the physical body,

That outer layer,

Just noticing.

Allowing to make that connection with what's going on in the physical body.

Without any judgment,

Just noticing that.

And then releasing that away.

Knowing that you can tuck that away from what we're done with practice today.

And allowing that awareness to flow inward into the state of the mind,

The busy space.

That busy ego wanting to press in and fill our time and energy with loops of thoughts.

And just bringing awareness to whatever thoughts might be showing up for you in your practice.

And with loving compassion,

Just noticing.

And releasing that as well.

And again allowing that awareness to flow inward yet into that space of the emotions.

And how you might be showing up emotionally today.

What feelings are present as we begin our journey?

And breathing in and out here.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Always staying connected to the breath.

And again allowing that awareness to flow inward yet again into that state of insight,

Wisdom and intuition.

Just allowing the awareness to be present there.

Just listening in.

And allowing that to float away as well.

As we move into that last layer of pure consciousness.

Having released those things that will stay and wait for us until the very end of practice.

So that we can be in this highest form.

Really showing up heart and soul today.

And as we begin our journey today,

We begin by setting the tone of our practice.

Either creating your own intention or borrowing the sankalpa that I've created for us as a community.

Planting the seed of this thought.

Using my words,

The short words if they resonate.

I am grateful to release self-doubt so that I might show up as my inner superhero.

To live a life where my strength and light shine out in every direction.

Creating a ripple effect of goodness and light.

Breathing here,

Inviting in that even inhale and exhale.

Staying connected to the breath,

The length of the practice.

I invite you to,

In your mind,

Imagine sitting in a theater.

In front of you is a huge screen.

And as you focus on the screen,

Bringing up a moment in time where you felt powerful.

It may have been as a child before you experienced too much of life's complexity.

Or it may have been as an adult after delivering a super successful presentation,

Completing a project,

Or just feeling really strong and capable.

And as you pull that moment up and forward,

Making it richer yet by adding in the details of the moment.

Who was there?

What do you see,

Smell,

Taste,

And feel?

Really pulling that moment into your awareness and experiencing it here on that movie screen.

As if it were a movie.

Sensing the very essence of strength,

Power,

And success as it infuses your body.

And as always returning to that breath as an anchor.

Feeling that strength and vitality run through the body.

And now having this sense of being transported.

You are aware of being in a pristine white building.

In it are rows and rows and rows of the books of your life.

Brimming with colors and stories.

These are the journeys that have given birth to your strength.

And along one wall is a span of computers,

Technology,

And even support staff.

Hard at work.

In the middle of the room stands a cylinder glass stand.

And in it is your superhero suit.

With a billowing fog winding up around the bottom of the suit,

It looks mystical behind the glass.

Pausing here,

Just noticing that superhero suit,

You know that wearing it makes you feel confident,

Super powerful,

And strong.

Now just noticing what the material is made of.

The colors and textures.

It is made of a new technology that will allow any doubt to ping right off.

As if you were made of Teflon.

A bulletproof armor for doubt.

Breathing here as you take that suit in,

What do you see?

And then softly an alarm sounds.

On a screen in front of you pops up these sentences.

I am not worthy.

I can't do this.

Who am I to think I can do this?

What makes me so special?

You can see the map of your mind and the places and moments where these doubts have seeped in sometimes as the dots light up a brilliant red indicating danger.

You can see how the lights travel through the body,

Where they can create stress,

Strain,

And illness.

You become completely aware of the capacity for self-doubt to extinguish joy,

Strength,

And inner fire.

All at once a whoosh of sound comes from the center of the room and there in all of its glory is your superhero suit.

The cylinder is moved up and out of the way to give you access to the suit.

Rushing into action,

Taking the suit,

Putting it on,

Noticing the fit,

Completely perfect.

Made just for you.

Your suit is equipped with everything you need.

Ready now,

A portal opens in the ceiling and you see the beautiful clear blue skies and sense that you have the power to fly.

With the use of this power,

You launch into the air,

Cape flapping,

And accelerate it.

You are flying.

Sensing the lightness of your soul here,

You are fueled by your belief,

Your knowing and wisdom that you are made for brilliance.

You are made to do things that only you have been gifted.

Flying up through the clouds,

You are absolutely astonished by the view,

The beauty,

And the ability for clarity about so much as you rise above the hustle and bustle of life.

Feeling protected and empowered in that superhero suit as you fly and feeling directed now.

You find that there is an incredible city of light and press onward to make an inspection.

And landing now in this crystalline city where the buildings are made of dancing light,

Colors of every kind and beyond description,

But it is radiant.

There is a beautiful gazebo in the center of a reflection pool and you cross a small bridge and as you enter,

Having the sense of moving into something magical as it surrounds and embraces you.

And now in this beautiful and mystical place,

You begin to take time to connect your superhuman gifts.

Noticing the talents and powers beyond even flying.

Maybe you have an extra large heart for how you will love people so much.

Maybe you have gloves that can sunlight and light people.

Perhaps it is a strong suit that keeps the negative beliefs and thoughts away so you can live in the light.

Maybe you have glasses or goggles that allow you to see through the haze and mysteries in life right into the heart of the matter.

Perhaps you have an angel's voice for people to hear your message.

Pausing here in that gazebo as you breathe in and out,

Contemplating the gifts that you've been given in this lifetime,

Embracing each and every one with gratitude and allowing that intuition to guide you into that insight and awareness.

And having received now the wisdom of your gifts,

Your strengths,

You become aware of a beautiful light that has entered the space with you.

Turning you realize there is no gender,

Just pure light.

Puzzled by their appearance but also feeling a deep connection and knowing that this presence in some ways like you already have a relationship.

You experience awe and feel honored to be in its presence.

In your mind you can hear,

Welcome to the city of light.

You are now ready to receive your special tools for a journey on earth.

These tools will be the vessels that allow you to share your greatness with the world.

Open your heart and mind as you receive them.

Breathing here,

I invite you to imagine what tools you have to live into your greatness.

You could look like a paintbrush for the artist,

A super boosted mind for creating connections and teaching.

Perhaps you're given extra strength to emotionally help elevate and support others.

Taking this time here,

Receiving the tools,

Your superpower tools as the light of the presence holds space for this beautiful transaction wisdom as it floods in,

Filling you with light and joy,

Strength and insight as you receive your own unique gadgets that will support you into living into that divine purpose.

And breathing here as you receive.

And now,

Having been elevated,

Having this sense of being filled with incredible life force,

Vitality,

Strength and so much love,

You bow in gratitude to the light being and cross the bridge once again into the edge of the city of light.

In your mind you begin to activate the ability to fly and off you go soaring through the clouds,

Trusting that you know where to go.

Even when you cannot see the direction,

You can feel it.

And you know that this is also a superpower,

That insight and wisdom to know on a soul level where you are being called.

In this moment,

As you near your home base,

You spot the opening in the roof and land gently in your superhero hub,

Pausing here to notice how inspired,

Motivated,

Strong and prepared you feel.

So clear on what you are meant to do and how you are meant to do it.

And also being blessed with the tools to do so.

And looking at that screen from earlier,

You notice how there are no more alarms or red dots.

How you eradicated them by being in your light,

By celebrating your gifts,

By knowing your purpose and meaning here.

And you are also completely aware that you have this power.

You can reconnect to that inner fire and badass just by returning to this suit,

To the city of light to be super boosted by the loving light of the energy there.

And slowly taking that suit off,

You turn to see the cape at the back of your suit and notice now for the first time that there is a letter or word there.

Really taking that in,

What superpower or word defines what you are made of and how you will show up in the world.

Breathing here as you take that in,

Allowing the insight to float forward.

What are you made of?

And marveling at the insight you've had,

This magical experience of being able to tap into and use your gifts.

You are feeling so blessed and grateful.

You also know that one of your powers is in the sharing of those gifts.

In the moments that you will enhance by sharing your strengths,

By the people you will inspire,

By the lives you will change,

By standing in your strength and conviction.

You come to know that when you live with confidence,

You inspire confidence in others,

That it is like a torch that you can pass on to others so that they too can see their way.

Breathing here,

Just experiencing that joy and confidence in this moment,

Having released that self-doubt,

Moving into that place of strength,

Light,

Love and your superpowers as you breathe here.

You're feeling that strength and vitality running through every single area of your body.

Strength and power emanating from your core,

From the heart,

From the mind.

You have been activated,

Asked to step into service using all those gifts and tools so that you can shine and light the way for all the people around you and being fearless.

And as we begin to slowly close the practice,

We're going to return to that intention or Sankofa,

Repeating it three times to send it all the way through the layers of your being.

I am grateful to release self-doubt so that I might show up as my inner superhero.

To live a life where my strength and light shine out in every direction,

Creating a ripple effect of goodness and light.

Sending those words to the layers of the soul,

Slowly returning to the earth body,

Feeling the sense of the muscles and bones,

The energy coursing through the body,

Rooting you here to the physical plane.

Bringing awareness to how you are feeling right now,

Just noticing the experience of releasing doubt,

Moving into a space of experiencing your own innate strength,

Light,

And goodness.

Seeing how powerfully our belief and intention set us up to fly,

To live into our own light in the world and the effect it can have in other people.

And bringing the awareness to the breath in your body as it expands the chest,

Ribs,

And belly,

Inviting in that vital life force energy,

Allowing that to flow through the body.

Beginning to rub the thumbs across the ends of the fingertips,

Gently wiggling fingers and toes,

And beginning to bring awareness into the hands that you might rub them together,

Creating some warmth and placing wonderful hands in your heart to have gratitude for your powerful superhero journey.

Pausing for a moment,

Consider you will take that felt sense of embodying the confidence and joy into living into who you were meant to be,

The lightness that comes with releasing self-doubt.

As we gently close our practice,

I invite you to imagine that you have just become a part of a superhero team,

A group just like the Justice League,

One of love and light,

Blessings and peace and compassion and kindness.

You're stronger for joining forces with the other superheroes around you and as we work together to eradicate the doubt and self-doubt and help us rise up and elevate into our strongest and best selves,

We work better together.

And breathing to receive that,

I invite you to bring your hands to a prayer position at heart center that resonates for you as we close.

The superhero in me honors the light strength and superhero in all of you as we release any doubt and rise up together to spread our light into the world,

Eradicating the darkness from a place of love and light.
