Hey there,

This is Jen with Laughing Lotus Wellness.

Welcome to our meditation practice.

So welcoming you into our meditation and taking an easy seated position,

Coming to lie down.

This is a yoga nidra style meditation so it might be nice if you have it accessible to you to lie down,

Allow that energy to flow from head to toe,

Which I love.

And closing those eyes or softening the gaze and just beginning to bring awareness to the breath.

So just as you,

This might be the really first moment of your day or evening where you've paused a moment to really be aware of the breath.

So just bringing that awareness to the breath.

And just sensing the flow of the breath,

Where it expands and contracts in the body,

The heart space,

The chest,

The back,

All the parts of the body that are influenced by the breath and the movement of the breath,

Right?

And that beautiful form of love that's happening all the time when we don't have to do anything.

This is like body love.

Your breath is body love.

And so just allowing that to flow and just beginning to check the state of the mind.

Just noting sensations or feelings,

Thoughts,

Anything that might be coming into your practice.

Just witnessing that with an observational stance,

No attachment to it.

And then imagine taking all of the plans for the day,

The things that might be rolling around for you and kind of putting them in a box and sending them outside of your space.

Just for the time of your practice.

And of course,

Returning as always to that even and steady breath.

The body love,

That universal life force flowing through you.

And making adjustments to your props,

Clothing,

Or body to be that much more comfortable.

Taking in as much restful experience and peace in the body as we can.

And today we begin with tying the breath to a mantra for love.

Imagining the breath is flowing in and out of the heart space.

So on an inhale,

The heart expands.

And as you exhale,

It releases into peace.

On an inhale,

The heart expands.

As you exhale,

It releases into peace.

Now tying in the thought,

Inhaling,

I am.

Exhaling,

Creating the vision.

Inhaling I am.

Exhaling out,

Creating the vision.

Inhaling I am.

Exhaling out,

Envisioning self love.

Inhaling I am.

Exhaling out,

Envisioning self love.

Inhaling in again,

I am.

Exhaling loving myself.

Inhaling in again,

I am.

Exhaling out,

Loving myself.

Inhaling in again,

I am.

Exhaling out,

The vision of self love for the collective.

Inhaling I am.

Nice elongated exhale,

The vision of self love for the collective.

And as you sink and settle here,

This peaceful state,

Allowing yourself to fall even deeper into relaxation as I count down from five to one.

Five,

Relaxing and releasing.

Four,

Letting go of any thoughts,

Feelings or sensations.

Three,

Falling deeper into relaxation.

Two,

Allowing yourself to be in this peaceful place.

And one,

Completely relaxed and ready for yoga nidra.

And I invite you to start our journey today with an intention or a group sankalpa,

Whatever resonates for you most deeply,

But if you'd like,

You can borrow my words as your words to plant the seeds of an intention.

Repeating that three times to send it all the way into the layers of your soul.

And our sankalpa for today is this.

I am grateful to create my vision of self love as it becomes a living reflection of my love in the collective.

We begin by bringing the awareness to the right side of the body,

Placing the awareness in the right side and the right thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

And fifth finger,

Light of awareness in the right palm,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Waist,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Right big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

And fifth toe.

And now bringing that same healing light of awareness to the left side of the body,

Radiant healing light in that left thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

And fifth finger,

Light of awareness in that left palm,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Waist,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

And fifth toe.

And returning now to that right side of the body,

Placing that awareness,

That healing light from up to down,

And that right thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

And fifth finger,

Light of awareness in that right palm,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Waist,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Right big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

And fifth toe,

Back to the sole,

The heel,

Ankle,

Calf,

Knee,

Thigh,

Waist,

Armpit,

Shoulder,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Right palm,

Healing light of awareness,

Embracing the whole right side,

The whole right side,

And healing light of awareness.

And bringing that light of awareness now on that left side of the body again from up to down,

Placing that light in the left thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

And fifth finger,

Light of awareness in that left palm,

Wrist,

Elbow,

Shoulder,

Armpit,

Waist,

Thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

Ankle,

Heel,

Sole,

Left big toe,

Second toe,

Third toe,

Fourth toe,

And fifth toe,

Back into the sole,

The heel,

The ankle,

Calf,

Knee,

Thigh,

Waist,

Armpit,

Shoulder,

Elbow,

Wrist,

Left palm,

Thumb,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger,

And fifth finger,

Radiant healing light in the whole left side of the body,

Cased in healing light.

And now bringing that light of awareness to the front of the body,

Bringing that warm healing light to the top of the head,

The crown of the head,

The forehead,

Right eyebrow,

Left eyebrow,

The space between the brows,

Right eye and left eye,

Right nostril,

Left nostril,

Right cheek,

Left cheek,

Right jaw,

Left jaw,

Right ear,

Left ear,

Upper lip,

Lower lip,

Space between the lips,

Chin,

Throat,

Right side of the chest,

Left side of the chest,

The whole of the chest,

The beating heart in the center of the chest,

Breathing in and out through the beating heart in the center of the chest,

The navel,

Abdomen,

Right side of the pelvis and the left side of the pelvis,

Right side of the thigh and left thigh,

Right knee,

Left knee,

Right toes and left toes,

Healing radiant light,

Filling the whole front of the body,

The whole front of the body,

Beautiful luminous light.

Now bringing that awareness in the backside of the body,

Backside of the body,

Noticing the back of the head and the right shoulder blade and the left shoulder blade,

The length of the spine,

Right hip and left hip,

Right seat and left seat,

Back of the right thigh,

Back of the left thigh,

Right calf muscle and left calf muscle,

Right ankle and left ankle,

Right heel,

Left heel,

Healing light of awareness now,

Radiant flowing light in the back of the body,

The whole back of the body encapsulated in healing radiant light.

And now from the top to the bottom,

Sensing that healing light of awareness,

The top of the crown and then the feet,

From the feet to the crown and the crown to the feet,

Allowing that beautiful radiant light to flow from the crown to the feet and the feet to the crown,

Sensing that circular movement in a clockwise direction of the energy flowing from the crown to the feet and the feet to the crown,

Breathing just like this,

One breath all the way down one side of the body,

Exhaling it out as you move up the other side of the body.

And now imagining seeing the whole body radiant light,

Illuminating light,

And now seeing the whole body radiant light,

Illuminating light centered right in the center of the space of your heart,

The breath flowing in and out through that sweet heart space.

An energetic light is within you and you can see your own reflection,

Your own body,

Your own light and heart,

Your own body,

Your own light and heart.

The whole body is lit in radiant energy and that heart chakra,

Beautiful sweet space in the center of that body,

Lit in beautiful healing light,

Expanding with a sense of loving ourselves as we step into our journey today.

I invite you into a journey of the heart as we go back in time,

Flowing backwards like a video on rewind,

Allowing the mind to flow back in time,

Back in time.

And now imagining a parent or parent figure,

A protective,

Nurturing and loving person or imagine you can.

Once you recall watching a movie or show where you admired a parent or guardian,

In your mind really calling that forward.

Imagine in this moment how those people make you feel nurtured,

Loved,

Seen,

Heard,

Validated,

And in this time just embracing what it feels like.

I want you to recall or pretend that you do the things a parent or guardian would say to you in love.

You are good,

You are smart,

You are kind,

You can do anything.

I love you,

All of you.

You are perfect as you are.

You are beautiful inside and out.

And as you breathe in this beautiful space calling up your own memories or the dreams that you had of that nurturing figure as you breathe.

And really allowing that experience to fall in your soul and land,

Feeling each of the phrases in the body,

Each of the memories as you breathe.

Where do you notice that?

What does that feel like?

And now imagining grandparents or loving grandparent figure,

Remembering or pretending you do what it is like to be loved by a grandparent.

Their love is grand.

They are the bearers of desserts,

Special time and treats,

Indulging,

Nurturing,

Playful and so very present.

Bringing this in for a moment the things that they would say to you in love.

You are unique.

You are so talented.

I am so proud of you.

I love spending time with you.

Look at what you created.

Look at what you did.

I will help with that.

And beautiful nurturing,

Deep,

Warm hugs.

Really allowing those words to fall in your soul and land,

Feeling each of those phrases in the body as you breathe.

Where do you notice that?

And what does that feel like?

And now taking a moment to think of closest friends and family,

Calling in the most connected and consider what loving things they would say.

You are so good at that.

Thank you for being my friend,

For being in my life.

I value you.

I see you.

I know your heart.

I love spending time with you.

You make me smile and laugh.

And I love what you stand for.

And again,

Allowing the words to fall in your soul and land,

Feeling each of those phrases through all the layers of the body as you breathe.

Where do you embody those phrases?

What does that feel like to receive?

And perhaps you have a pet or a child of your own and imagining their gratitude and awe in who you are and what you bring or imagine that you do.

Unconditional love,

Time and attention,

Energy,

Sacrifice.

Feeling any energy of love that they give to you.

And in this moment,

Feeling the sense of being transformed.

And you become a parent,

Grandparent,

Friend,

Family,

You are literally seeing through their eyes.

Stepping into these beautiful connections and through their eyes,

See and witness you feel the emotions,

Hear the thoughts that they feel and think for you.

For when they see you,

All of you,

They see and witness the perfectly imperfect.

The whole of your heart,

Sound of your voice,

Sound of your laughter,

The love that you bring and how you change the world just by being who you are in their eyes.

And in this moment,

Really feel that land.

What is it like to be in their vision?

To see and feel how deeply and truly loved you are through their eyes.

And as you breathe,

Receive.

In this moment,

Realizing that you can share this vision of having experienced that love and also giving of that love and seeing the magic that others see in you.

Allowing that heart to receive that love to expand with it,

To see yourself through those eyes,

To live in the beauty they see in you.

Really experiencing that in this moment,

Embodying that sense,

Deep love and kindness through their eyes.

Self love is knowing your worth,

Value and honoring that by embracing your gifts and sending them out into the collective.

It is where you love yourself the most that you can most love others.

Loving yourself is preparing yourself for sending love outward,

For understanding,

Having compassion,

Acceptance and love for others,

And honoring and respecting yourself.

You step into the light of what you are capable of,

Even in your humanity,

Making space for others to show up in their humanity.

Seeking the treasures within because you have found your own.

And immerse yourself for a few more moments and breaths here in that vision of self love,

Allowing that heart to expand and receive just like this.

Let's liveprivate.

You're returning once again to our intention for practice,

Repeating in your mind these words.

And slowly beginning to return to your space.

That earth body shifting from the journey of being in that space of self love that quiet beautiful heart space back into the earth.

Paying attention to how you were feeling right now just noticing and witnessing that self love moving through the body with a breath and intention and energy.

And now paying attention to your breath and the body,

Breath and the body,

Breath and the body.

Bringing that breath to the heart space in and out through the heart space.

Noticing the way the love feels magnified.

The heart lighter and clear.

Slowly and gently getting to rub the thumbs across the ends of the fingertips,

Wiggling fingers and toes.

And pausing for a moment here considering how you will take the beauty of witnessing being loved through another's eyes,

Seeing the vision of your own goodness,

And allowing that to settle in your heart,

Mind and body.

I invite you to rub your hands together,

Creating some warmth and then placing them gently across your heart.

Sensing that breath,

The beating of the heart.

Sensing the love that throws flows through that body.

Slowly and light flowing with the breath,

Full of love.

And leaving your hands here,

Bringing them to a prayer position at heart center,

Whatever resonates for you and your practice.

I honor you for this journey together and this vision of self love and this sacred space.

Seeing love as a collective energy.

The vision of self love in me honors the vision of self love in you making us one in that collective love heart space that we might take our hearts out and create collective love and light.
