Welcome.
Take a moment to settle in and make yourself comfortable.
Allow your body to be supported by whatever you are sitting or lying on.
There is nothing you need to accomplish here.
Nothing you need to force.
For the next little while,
Simply allow yourself to be still,
To breathe.
And to be open to whatever experience comes naturally.
You can softly close your eyes.
And let's begin with a few slow breaths.
Take a comfortable breath in through your nose.
And slowly breathe it out.
Again,
Breathing in and out.
And letting the breath soften as you breathe out.
One more time,
A slow,
Gentle breath in.
And a long easy breath out.
Now allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
You don't need to control it.
Just notice it.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of your body with each breath.
As you breathe,
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Let your jaw relax.
Let your hands become heavy.
Let your legs and feet relax.
And with every breath,
Imagine yourself becoming a little more relaxed.
A little more settled.
A little more present.
Now imagine yourself standing in a beautiful natural place.
It might be a peaceful forest.
A quiet meadow.
A garden filled with flowers.
Or perhaps somewhere completely different.
Don't worry about creating the perfect place.
Simply allow a peaceful setting to come to you.
Look around.
Notice what you see.
Maybe there are tall trees moving gently in the breeze.
Soft grasp beneath your feet.
Flowers growing around you.
Sunlight filtering through the leaves.
Or perhaps the warm glow of evening light.
Take a moment to notice the colors around you.
The shape.
The light and shadows.
And notice the sounds.
Maybe you can hear birds in the distance.
The rustling of leaves.
The gentle movement of grass.
Or simply the peaceful quiet of being here.
Take a slow breath in.
And notice the sense around you.
Perhaps the fresh scent of trees.
The flowers,
The grass.
Or cool evening air.
And notice what you feel.
The ground beneath your feet.
The temperature of the air against your skin.
The gentle movement of the breeze.
And allow yourself to become grounded in this place.
You are safe to simply be here.
You you.
Now as you look around.
You notice a path.
A quiet little path leading through this peaceful place.
And you decide to follow it.
There is nowhere you need to hurry to.
Just take your time.
One step.
And another and another.
With every step forward,
You feel yourself becoming more relaxed.
More peaceful.
More open.
Continue walking along the path.
Following it wherever it leads you.
As you continue walking.
The path begins to open.
You notice light ahead of you.
And as you take a few more steps,
You arrive at a beautiful lake.
Take a moment to simply look at it.
The water is calm and peaceful.
With only the slightest ripples moving across the surface from the soft evening breeze.
The sun is beginning to set.
And the light stretches across the water.
You can see the beautiful colors reflected on the surface of the lake.
Take a slow breath in.
Send a long breath out.
Notice the peacefulness of this place.
The shoreline is soft green grass.
With a gentle rocky edge leading down toward the water.
And sitting there right at the edge of the grass is a bench.
A beautiful,
Comfortable bed.
Dark wood.
With delicate wrought iron.
And somehow as you look at it You know it is just right for you.
As though it was made to fit your body perfectly.
Walk over to the bench.
And sit down.
Allow yourself to settle into the comfort of it.
Feel yourself supported.
Feel your body relax.
And simply sit here for a few moments.
Watching the lake.
Watching the sunset.
Breathing.
Thank you.
Take another slow,
Deep breath in.
And slowly let it out.
And when you are ready.
Bring to mind the being you would like to meet today.
Perhaps you would like to meet a spirit guide.
A loved one who has passed.
Your higher self.
Or another loving presence that feels meaningful to you.
There is no right or wrong choice.
Simply bring this being gently to mind.
You don't need to know exactly what they look like.
You don't need to know how they will appear.
Just hold the intention of meeting them here.
And when you are ready.
Invite them to join you.
You might say silently.
I invite you to join me here.
I am open to meeting you in whatever way is right for me today.
And then simply wait.
There is nothing you need to force.
Nothing you need to make happen.
Continue breathing gently.
Relax into the bench.
Watch the peaceful water and simply notice.
Perhaps you begin to sense a presence beside you.
Maybe you see someone.
Maybe you hear something.
Maybe you feel a warmth.
A shift in the energy around you.
A familiar feeling.
Or perhaps you simply know that someone is there.
Allow whatever comes.
To come naturally.
You Take a moment to notice who has arrived.
And notice what it feels like to have them beside you.
Perhaps there is a feeling of love.
Comfort.
Familiarity.
Peace.
Or even joy.
You don't have to say anything.
You can simply sit together.
Watching the sunset over the lake.
Sharing this quiet moment.
And if there is something you would like to ask.
You can ask now.
It might be a question about your life.
Something you've been wondering about.
Something you need reassurance about.
Or simply,
Is there anything you would like me to know?
Don't ask your questions silently.
And then become still.
Listen.
Not necessarily with your ears,
But with your whole awareness.
Notice whatever comes.
A word.
An image.
Of thought.
Of feeling.
A memory,
A sensation.
There is no need to judge the experience.
Simply receive whatever comes.
If you don't have a question,
That's okay too.
You can simply sit together.
Resting in the peacefulness of this moment.
Allow yourself to experience the love.
The connection.
The comfort.
Or simply the feeling of being with another.
Take your time here.
There is nowhere else you need to be.
For these next few moments,
Simply be together.
You you Thank you.
You you Thank you.
You you you you you you you And now.
As you begin to prepare to leave.
Take one last moment with this presence beside you.
If there is one final question you'd like to ask.
Ask it now.
Or simply open yourself to receiving one last thought,
Feeling or message.
You Thank you.
And when you are ready.
Thank them for joining you.
Thank them for whatever you experience together.
And allow yourself to know.
That you can carry the love and peace of this moment with you.
You notice the presence beginning to gently fade away.
Perhaps they stand.
Perhaps they simply become lighter.
And before they go,
They give you one last smile.
One last wave.
And then they are gone.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And let out a long,
Big sigh.
Now slowly rise from the bench.
Take one last look at the lake.
The sunset.
The peaceful place you've been sitting.
And when you're ready,
Turn back toward the path.
Begin walking.
One step.
And another.
Slowly making your way back.
The path leads you through the forest or the meadow or the garden.
Back toward the place where your journey began.
As you walk.
Notice the ground beneath your feet.
Notice the air around you.
And with every step.
Become a little more aware of your physical body.
And when you arrive back at your starting place.
Take a few more slow breaths.
Feel your feet.
Feel your legs.
Feel your head.
Notice the weight of your body.
And the surface supporting you.
Bring your awareness back into your body.
Back into this room.
Into this moment.
Begin making some small movements.
Maybe gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders.
Stretch your hands.
Move your feet.
Allow yourself become fully grounded in your body.
Take one more deep breath in.
And let it out with a big cleansing sigh.
When you are ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Take your time.
There is no need to rush.
Carry the peace of this experience with you.
And remember that you can return to this peaceful place whenever you need a moment of quiet connection or love.
Thank you for spending this time with me,
And until next time,
Be gentle with yourself.
