Just Pause. Stop right there, just as you are, and breathe with me for just two minutes, and feel the effects of taking the time to notice and come back to the present moment, where life truly happens.

Hello and welcome,

This is Laia and today I want to share with you just a short pause.

So wherever you are,

However you feel,

Take a moment to sit down,

Lengthen your spine,

Relax your shoulders,

Soften your gaze down or close your eyes.

And just listen to your surroundings for a moment,

Being fully aware of where you are as you draw your attention closer to yourself.

Noticing your physical body,

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up your belly,

Your ribcage,

Your chest,

Open your mouth and let it go.

Deep inhalation through your nose,

Fill up front to back,

Side to side and top to bottom.

Open your mouth and let go.

One more just like that,

Deep breath in,

Let it expand and exhale.

Once you're ready,

Start to open your eyes once again,

Bringing yourself back to the present moment and moving on with your day.

A little more present,

A little more aware.

I hope this practice has served you and that you come back to it anytime that you feel like you could just use a moment to pause and realign.

Using this to learn to pause. I can meditate better first and last thing, but the pause during the day, just being present is really challenging for me. Thank you for this track. It makes me realise how much tension I carry as "normal" during the day. Wishing you good vibes in your day.
