Hi and welcome,
I'm Laia,
And today I want to share with you some affirmations that are perfect to help you release the day and prepare for rest.
So please bring yourself to a comfortable position,
Whether you choose to sit down or maybe you already lie down on your bed,
It's whatever you rather do,
But just give yourself a few moments to become really comfortable and relaxed.
Perhaps use some pillows or cover yourself up with a blanket,
Just make yourself cozy if you can.
I invite you to take a moment to maybe move your neck a little bit side to side,
Maybe you choose to stretch out,
And once you feel ready,
Start to bring yourself to stillness.
And if it serves you,
You can soften your gaze or maybe you choose to close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Noticing your body expand front to back,
Side to side,
And as you exhale,
Let yourself relax and soften toward the surface beneath you.
And just notice how you feel,
Maybe you give yourself a moment or two to recap the day.
And yeah,
You could move through the activities that you did,
The people you met,
But you could also choose to recap your day energetically.
How did you feel throughout,
Through the choices that you made,
The connections,
The hardships,
The discomforts?
Let yourself breathe as you remember your day.
And recognize that all of it,
Every single part brought you right here,
Right now,
Where you chose to take a few moments to let all of it go,
Even if it's just for a little while,
Make some time for yourself.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling up your lungs,
Sigh it out as you soften.
And once you're ready,
We'll start the affirmations.
You can choose to simply listen.
You can choose to repeat them within or repeat them out loud.
