As with all natural cycles, our body rises and falls with the breath, our body expands and contracts, our system opens and closes. Tuning into the natural rhythm of the breath we tap into the safety, connectedness and wisdom from within. Use this practice to minimise stress or to enter a deep state of relaxation, ideal for slipping into a deep, quality sleep.

You might like to close your eyes either fully or partially bringing your awareness to your breathing you noticing how when you take your in breath it's as if your body rises up to greet the in breath and then relaxes back down again is it lets go of the outbreak rising up from this foundation from the seat that you're sitting on and then resting back with the out breath once you rest back into the seat you're on and then with all things in nature there is an expansion arising a growing and then there is a contraction sinking getting smaller releasing the breath is the same rising and falling of the breath you flower in the morning opens its petals out to greet the Sun then in the evening closes its petals again as darkness comes on opening and closing now lungs open to receive oxygen and then they close again to release carbon dioxide out you in our day as a human being we rise in the morning and spend our day in activity and then in the evening we close we shut down we move to resting and we sleep the natural cycle is to rise and fall away open and close expand and contract breathing and breathe out you you if you find that you're feeling some tension as you're aware of the breath maybe it feels as if you're needing to orchestrate or direct the breath and that's causing you tension seeing if you can release that as well that tension arose and it too will dissipate at some point allowing that process to see itself out in its own time you you if you notice thoughts coming into your mind they too rose up and they will dissipate as well in their own time if if we don't hang on to them so allowing them as well to go through their cycle of appearing and then dissipating you you.
