Responsibility and duty often take the primary focus of our roles not only as mothers but as women.
In your household are dad or the grandparents always the fun one?
Laughter gives us a boost of energy.
It clears away the debris of stress and anxiety.
Laughing reminds us that life is good,
That it isn't always about to-do lists,
Cleaning,
Or running around doing errands.
Remember that little girl inside of you,
The one who loved to play and run around all day with no agenda.
Remember how liberating that felt.
Let your hair down,
Make a silly face,
Play a game,
And let the kids make a mess.
Tell a joke,
Laugh at nothing,
Be in the moment,
And connect with joy.
Whatever the ailment,
Laughter is the best course of treatment.
