Enjoy this sacral chakra practice to invite in a sacred pause to inherently feel to heal. This practice is wonderful to tune into your emotional body and explore releasing emotions not serving you to create spaciousness for creative and transformative energy to flow through. Yoga Nidra is an ancient technique that helps you deeply relax and reset the nervous system with conscious relaxation while also inviting in a deep connection with your hearts desire or sankalpa. Listen anytime (except while driving please!!!) For this yoga nidra meditation I recommend lying down with pillows, blankets and something to cover your eyes with so you can deeply relax!

Welcome.

Namaste.

My name is Kristi and I'm so glad to be with you and guide you through this practice.

This specific Yoga Nidra practice has been designed to support you in working with the second chakra or sacral chakra.

The sacral chakra or Svadhisthana can be translated to sweetness.

It is our chakra connected to creation,

Emotions,

Pleasure,

And really having a sensual experience of the world.

To see,

Feel,

Hear,

And taste the sweetness of all the pleasures of life.

Svadhisthana is connected with the element of water.

This practice can support releasing of rigidity or tension from past emotions to allow creative energy to flow through.

I encourage you to lie down and find a relaxing,

Restful position.

Any position that allows you to feel spacious and supported.

The most important thing for this practice is that you feel comfortable and at ease.

Allow your legs to relax so that your feet can relax.

Let the arms be outstretched from the sides of your body,

Allowing the hands to relax.

As you rest here,

Can you observe the energy around you through the sounds in and around your space?

Sounds farther away,

Sounds closer to you.

Now turning your gaze fully inward,

Experiencing the gentle pulse and felt sense of energy within you.

As you drop into this support beneath you,

Take some big deep breaths into the area of the sacral chakra.

Feel the gentle waves of breath moving in and out.

The waves of the inhale breath seamlessly flowing right into the exhale breath.

Now you may like to take a moment to move deeper inside.

Acquaint yourself with any emotions you have been feeling lately.

Perhaps something you have been quite entangled with that may not be serving you.

An emotion that may be supportive by releasing it in this practice for your highest and greatest good.

Just bringing unconditional loving awareness to this emotion.

Breathe in fully and exhale out completely.

Allowing your breath to dissolve you deeper and deeper into this practice of non-doing.

Now begin to breathe into the heart space,

Resting your awareness sweetly at the altar of your heart.

Allowing your sankalpa or intention to arise,

Spoken directly from the heart.

Bringing in your sankalpa if you're working with one.

Or perhaps repeating,

I allow my emotions and desires to flow with the universe.

Or I am joyful,

I'm inspired,

I am creative.

Allow the words of your sankalpa to be planted into deep layers of the heart.

Now allow your awareness to pool in each energetic point that I now name.

A sense of awareness at each point,

Accompanied by arising sensations Allow your awareness to pool at the point between the eyebrows.

Sense any sensations arising from the third eye center.

A pool of awareness at the center of the throat.

The right shoulder joint.

The right elbow joint.

Middle of the right wrist.

Tip of the right thumb.

Tip of the index finger.

Tip of the middle finger.

Tip of the ring finger.

Tip of the little finger.

The right wrist joint.

Right elbow joint.

Right shoulder joint.

Center of the throat.

Over to the left shoulder joint.

Left elbow joint.

Middle of the left wrist.

Tip of the left thumb.

Tip of the index finger.

Tip of the middle finger.

Tip of the ring finger.

Tip of the little finger.

The left wrist joint.

The left elbow joint.

The left shoulder joint.

Pool of awareness and arising sensations at the center of the throat.

The heart center.

The right side of the chest.

The heart center.

The left side of the chest.

The heart center.

The solar plexus.

The navel center.

The right hip joint.

Right knee.

Right ankle.

Right big toe.

Tip of the second toe.

Tip of the third toe.

Tip of the fourth toe.

Tip of the little toe.

Right ankle.

Right knee.

Right hip.

The navel center.

Over to the left hip.

Left hip.

Pool of awareness and arising sensations at the navel center.

The solar plexus.

The heart center.

The center of the throat.

Pool of awareness at the center between the eyebrows.

Arising sensations at the third eye center.

Now allowing your awareness to move to your whole body.

Your whole body at once.

Your whole body still.

But aware of the subtle inner flow of pulsing energy throughout.

Now bring your awareness to both of your nostrils.

On the inhale breath,

Let the breath flow in.

Wash through the nostrils to the very center point of the mind.

As you exhale,

The breath moves down flowing through the legs and out through the soles of the feet.

The inhale breath flows through the feet.

Traveling up the legs to the very center point of the mind.

Exhaling out through both nostrils.

Allowing waves of breath to flow in and out.

Effortlessly breathing.

Feeling the waves of breath.

Fluidly wash through the center point of the mind.

And through the entire body.

Now rest your awareness on your lower belly.

Arise and fall below the navel point.

Now allowing awareness of any emotion to arise.

Perhaps the emotion that was brought to mind in the beginning of the practice.

Let go of any resistance to feeling this emotion.

Allow the emotion,

The spaciousness,

To be felt.

Now observe the emotion begin to arise,

Exist,

And then transform into something different.

Perhaps the opposite to this emotion.

You may even move back and forth between these emotions.

Without resistance.

Energy in the form of emotion is created and transformed to be created again.

Washing through the vast and infinite cycle.

No end.

No feeling.

It's final.

The breath is a continuous ebb and flow of transformative,

Shakti,

Creative energy.

Allowing you to attune to this inner flow.

A felt sense of energy moving within you.

Feel yourself completely cocooned here.

Supporting this evolving process of forming a chrysalis to undergo metamorphosis.

Visualize deep orange monarch butterfly wings.

Expanding through the torso to the shoulder head.

The wings expand down through the arms and the hands.

Bright orange creative energy.

Expanding your wings.

Light and floating.

Let yourself fly.

Free.

Liberated.

As creation flows through you.

Gliding.

Dancing.

Light floating.

Basking in source creative energy.

Dissolving back.

As you rest here in this pool of pure ocean of awareness.

Unbound.

Limitless.

Infinite.

Eternal.

Resting in the bliss of your true self.

Where shakti energy freely moves through.

Resting for several minutes.

Basking in the energy of the true self.

Gently return your awareness to the altar of your heart.

Allowing your sankalpa or intention to take root into your heart space.

I allow my emotions and desires to flow with the universe.

I am joyful.

I am inspired.

I am creative.

Now can you bring forth a deep sense of gratitude.

Gratitude for hope.

Inspiration.

Change.

Transformation.

Let the gratitude spill over into gratitude for yourself.

Gratitude for the support in your life.

Whether from others or nature and mother earth.

Remain resting here as long as you like.

Basking in all the benefits of the practice.

And of having a grateful and open heart.

If you are ready to reawaken.

Become aware of your natural breath.

Observe the belly rising and falling with each inhalation and exhalation.

Without moving quite yet.

Just becoming aware of the sensations of the physical body on the surface beneath you.

Feel the temperature of the air touching your skin.

Perhaps open and close your eyes a few times.

Taking in any light.

Just allowing it to be a sensory experience.

You might like to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take any gentle movements that feel good and pleasurable.

And as always,

Deep deep gratitude for this privilege to guide you.

Sending you so much love.

And wishing you many moments of sweetness.

Throughout the rest of your day or night.

Please stay connected.

Let me know how you feel.

And I hope you come and practice with me again.

Either with this practice or future practices.

It's a true honor.

From my heart to yours,

Namaste.

Shanti,

Shanti,

Shanti.

Peace,

Peace,

Peace.
