Today,
Dear one,
I ask that you sink in to your heart,
That you close your eyes,
Take a deep breath,
And put your hand over your heart.
We are often in such a rush,
And so much is going on in our heart and mind.
Those old programmings that keep us limited and small,
Fearful,
And held back.
Breathe into that space.
We often keep ourselves so busy so that we don't have to feel this space.
We don't have to connect to this part of who we are.
It feels overwhelming,
Petrifying even.
It feels more than we can handle sometimes.
But I want you to take this moment to connect to who you really are.
When you have negative thoughts,
Negative emotions,
When you go back to those habits,
You know so well of judging yourself,
Of criticizing,
Of beating yourself up.
May I encourage you,
Shift your perspective,
Look at it,
Feel it,
And understand this is not who you really are.
And as you hear me say that,
If in your mind your thoughts start to argue with me,
You don't know.
You don't know what I've been through.
You don't know what I feel.
You don't know what I've done.
You don't know what's happened.
You're right,
I don't.
But I know this,
Who's talking in those moments,
Who's arguing with me in those thoughts is your ego.
It's not who you really are.
And that's why I want you to take this moment and see this as the gift that it is.
That it's coming up so that you can release it.
That you can heal from it.
That you do not have to continue to live from that space.
You were meant for so much more.
So much more.
And you have what it takes to get there.
So as you sit here in your mind's eye and look in the mirror,
Take that deep breath.
Look at what's the meaning you attached to the messages you grew up with.
We thought it was the truth that we're not enough,
That we're alone.
That I have to be perfect.
But those were lies.
And it's time to step into the light of who you really are and of your truth.
If your mind is still arguing,
Just keep breathing.
Don't run from it.
Don't distract yourself.
Keep going.
You can do it.
I'm here with you.
You're not alone.
It's going to take time to break this habit because it is a well developed habit that you go to.
But the place I'm calling you today is to find compassion.
To find forgiveness.
To feel the love that is here for you.
There is so much more.
You were meant for so much more.
And it's time to break the change,
The chains that have held you back,
That have kept you in this bondage that has kept you suffering.
Because you deserve that.
That's what life was meant was to be a journey of awakening to your authentic self.
Of learning life's lessons and growing wiser and stronger.
It's what was meant for you.
No matter what your story is.
Embrace these moments.
Embrace your breath.
Feel the power that's within you.
You are so much more.
You are meant for more.
Take a deep breath.
Let it out with a sigh.
Come back to this place as many times as you need to throughout your day as you get lost in your thoughts,
As you get lost in your negative thinking,
Negative emotion.
It's okay.
It's a gift.
You're aware of it and you're feeling it because it's ready to be released.
It's ready to be let go.
You deserve that.
You really do.
You have this.
You've got this.
