Allow your body to sink deeply into whatever is holding you strong.
Whether it's a bed or a chair.
Just relax your muscles,
Relax your shoulders back.
Put your head in the most comfortable place that you can.
Perhaps with a cushion behind your neck.
Allow your whole body to be snug and supported.
Deepen the breath.
Fill your belly with such nourishing life force from the universe.
Let the breath move within you,
Guiding you towards a deeper level of stillness.
Imagine now that you're walking.
Walking through the most beautiful place in nature.
You're walking along a gentle river with a lush jungle on the other side.
At a safe place you cross over the river,
Noticing the life that's teeming within.
Jumping through the crystal clear rippling waves,
Greeting you with such joy and rapture.
As you step into this jungle you notice how rich it is with life.
The tall trees that reach towards the sun.
The thick vines.
The incredible flowers,
The insects,
The birds,
The animals are all there to greet you.
You feel safe here,
You feel at home.
You clear a space next to the river.
You sit down comfortably and welcome any animal that wishes to bring you a message or its sacred medicine.
Soon enough an animal comes along.
You welcome it with an open heart.
Perhaps it's an animal from the trees or on four legs on the ground.
Perhaps it's an insect.
It could be a reptile that slithers through the grass and in front of you,
Harmlessly greeting you where you are.
The animal may be in the river next to you,
A fish or an eel,
A shark or a dolphin.
Or perhaps it's a bird coming from the skies above down to sit next to you and connect with your heart.
You welcome whoever comes along and with gratitude you ask for a message or a sign or a symbol or whatever medicine they wish to show you.
This may come through as a vision,
Perhaps a knowing or a felt sensation,
But the message is clear.
As the first animal moves along,
There may be a second one that wishes to sit with you,
To share their message and wisdom.
Or perhaps it was just the one animal meant for you today and you meditate on what you have been shown.
Breathe deeply now and honor what you have been given.
And if the message wasn't clear in the moment they were with you,
It will become clear over the next few days.
Give thanks for all you have seen,
Give thanks for Mother Earth,
Give thanks to the elements and all the beings that have supported you on this journey today.
As you walk back towards the river you feel a sense of lightness.
Connection to nature is always so magical,
So deeply healing when we open our hearts.
As you walk across the river,
Leaving the beautiful jungle behind,
And as you turn around you see the most beautiful rainbow and you know that this sacred land has blessed you so deeply today.
With a deeper than normal breath filling up your belly and your lungs and sighing it out through your mouth,
Begin to stretch your body.
Stretch until you feel like you've come back into your body again.

Now is the time to write it down before it slips from your memory.
