Hi,

This is Kit Souther,

And in this guided meditation,

You'll let go of anxiety and calm your mind to open up the Anahata Chakra.

Please do not do this recording whilst driving or whilst operating machinery.

Only listen when you can safely relax and bring your full awareness to your own complete comfort.

This meditation will be 20 minutes long,

Therefore,

Please choose a comfortable meditation posture that feels best for you,

Whether it be sitting or laying.

Once you have found a comfortable place,

I invite you to close your eyes.

I invite you to take a nice,

Deep inhale through the nose,

Taking the air all the way down into the belly,

Staying mindful of its expansion,

Slowly,

With control,

Releasing the air through the nose.

Inhale through the nose,

Without force,

Taking our time here,

And we exhale through the nose.

We inhale,

Noticing how the breath feels as it goes down in through the nostrils,

All the way into the belly,

And as we exhale,

The warmth that leaves the body.

We inhale in unison one more time,

Taking the breath all the way down,

Relaxing the body,

Allowing the mind to release,

And we exhale,

Letting go.

We find our normal cadence of breath in the body,

Just be where it is,

Holding any expectations,

For today's practice,

Holding any expectations of ourselves,

Just allowing the body to relax,

Knowing that you've dedicated this time and this space for yourself and for your well-being.

Inhale through the nose,

And as we exhale,

We release,

Giving ourselves permission to be in this time,

In this moment,

Knowing you don't have to do anything,

Knowing you don't have to worry,

Knowing you don't have to try,

Welcoming the stillness,

Welcoming the peace,

Allowing your mind to rest,

Acknowledging and carrying the weight of these emotions,

The weight of this baggage,

And acknowledging that we don't have to hold this.

We inhale through the nose,

And as we exhale,

We release it.

Again,

We inhale,

Breathing the air into our heart space,

And as we exhale,

We release it,

Knowing that in this moment,

You don't have to be sorry,

You don't have to promise anything to anyone,

You don't have to regret.

In this moment,

All you have to do is be.

All you have to do in this moment is absorb the love that is coming to you.

I invite you to imagine with your third eye,

Your higher self,

The most free and open and elated version of you.

With your imagination,

Envision yourself opening your arm,

Broadening your chest,

And allowing the energy of love to flow in and out of your heart space,

Knowing that you are fully safe and fully present in this moment,

That no one is here to judge you,

And you are surrounded by a community of people who are here to love and honor you as you are.

Opening up your heart,

Receiving love,

Letting go of control,

Letting go of stress,

Letting go of the list of all the things that we have to do,

Just being present in this moment,

Allowing yourself to be.

As you inhale,

I invite you to imagine a soft,

Green globe of energy right where the Anahata chakra is,

The middle of your chest.

This form of love is the purest form,

The form that you are capable of harnessing and cultivating and holding in any moment.

A love that you always have present and a love that you always have within you.

A love that has no condition.

A love that is free of judgment.

A love that is created and designed specifically for you.

We inhale through the nose,

Absorbing all of this nutrients and love,

And as we exhale like a sponge,

We exude it,

Still retaining the love that we have,

But creating a green aura around us.

Shield of love,

A shield of pure energy,

Envisioning the orb still at our chest,

Shining even brighter,

Opening,

Still feeling safe,

Still feeling secure,

Feeling confident with this love that you've cultivated in your heart,

Taking note of how you feel.

If there are any negative emotions that are coming up for you,

It's okay,

You can acknowledge them.

Understand that you are fully capable and you are fully deserving of this love.

Those thoughts that come up,

Completely normal,

But know that you are worthy of this love and you deserve every ounce of it.

We inhale and we exhale,

Releasing,

And we inhale through the nose,

And as we exhale,

Make an audible sound through the mouth.

Let's do that three more times.

We're going to inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth,

Letting go.

We inhale again and we exhale through the mouth,

Really let it go.

One last time,

We inhale and we exhale,

Release,

Coming back to your normal cadence,

Coming back to your breath,

Coming back to this moment,

Coming back to this body that you live in,

Coming back to your reality,

Holding this space and this love,

Taking it with you and into where you are,

Staying here for a moment,

With your eyes still closed,

Absorbing this energy,

Absorbing this life force,

Being proud of yourself for holding this space,

That you're capable at whatever moment in your life to come back to this feeling,

Knowing that it's always within you.

If you're lying in Shavasana,

Taking your time,

You can roll onto your right side.

And if you're in meditation,

Easy pose,

Go ahead and just uncross your legs,

Allowing the body to unwind.

And for those of you in Shavasana,

You can just use your hands as your guides to come back up,

Keeping your eyes closed,

We inhale,

Lifting our hands overhead,

Our palms meet at the top,

We exhale,

Pray our hands come to heart.

I bow to you.

Namaste.
