This gentle, spacious meditation invites you to slow down, soften, and return to the present moment. With the support of plant allies—Clary Sage, Marjoram, Rose, and Sweet Orange—you’ll explore the nourishing space within and around you. Through breath, awareness, and guided imagery, you’ll reconnect with your innate wisdom and replenish your nervous system. This is a practice of presence, not perfection. You’ll be reminded again and again that spaciousness is always available—between thoughts, between breaths, and in the quiet connection between Earth and sky. Whether you're feeling full or fragile, busy or still, all parts of you are welcome here. This is a sacred pause—a space for grace to enter.

Getting comfortable,

If you're happy to close your eyes,

I recommend closing your eyes and settling into the space where you're at.

Let the breath just settle into whatever pattern it wants and needs.

Feel everything that is going on within.

Allow it all to be here.

Nothing needs to be ostracized or shoved away,

It's all welcome.

If you're feeling happy,

Bring the happy.

If you're feeling frustrated,

Bring the frustration.

If you're feeling a mix of everything,

Just bring it all.

And then I want you to imagine,

Well not imagine,

I want you to feel the space around you.

Above,

Below,

Behind,

In front,

Side to side.

Tap into the space that's there.

Oh great spirit,

Thank you for this time together this day.

Thank you to the inner nature,

The spirit of clary sage,

Rose,

Sweet orange and marjoram.

Thank you for this opportunity to be with Space for Grace this month and the themes that go along with it,

Showing us where we can choose to be present,

Choose another way,

Choose the space again and again.

Breathing,

Feeling this spaciousness that's being created,

That you're tapping into quite naturally,

Purely by choosing to focus on it.

You may find that the mind wants to come rushing in and that's fine too.

Just notice and then take your awareness back to the space around you.

And as you breathe in,

Breathing in that spaciousness,

Not to crowd anything out but to add more ease,

Add more flow,

For grace to enter.

These great plant teachers,

These great plant spirits,

Reminding us that we have access to the wisdom,

To the relaxation,

To the childlike wonder,

To the compassion,

Both for ourselves and for the others.

And for one another.

This great wisdom they carry can be known and felt.

And yes,

We can learn,

We can study,

But the transmission that is available here comes from a different space and place,

A place that we can know well.

It is this deep well of knowing that each and every one of us has access to.

And these guides,

These energetic points on the body,

These acupoints,

And the plant spirits remind us how to be in that space of knowing,

In that well of wisdom.

And the world will show us again and again where we get busy and caught up and there's nothing wrong or bad with it,

But these tools,

This soul technology,

Becomes an ally that we can turn to again and again when we realize we're just revving and running on empty.

So this space for grace that this sequence,

These plant spirits,

These oils,

And these acupoints bring us is this theme that we can explore with curiosity,

And it is a practice.

It's not about perfection,

It is a practice.

So once again,

Feeling the breath,

Breathing.

And as you breathe,

Feeling that spaciousness all around.

Feeling the space,

Choosing the space again and again.

And the insistence of the mind wanting to run and whir in our nervous system.

This choosing space again and again becomes this compassionate guide,

This compassionate choice that we can choose.

Notice where the spaciousness is in the body,

In between the cells,

Wherever the cells may be.

Can you feel the space behind you,

Present,

Holding you,

Yet ethereal?

Can you feel the space offering replenishment,

Nourishment,

Stillness to the nervous system?

And then allowing yourself to feel an anchoring from your sitting bones or your feet,

Letting the roots grow down into the center of the earth,

Holding you.

This earth that we stand upon,

Full of space,

Full of matter,

All of it coexisting.

Breathing in,

Up those roots,

Up through the body,

Into the heart space.

Again,

Feeling the space around the heart,

Around the lungs.

So often,

If we're busy,

We feel the tension,

The contraction,

And we can remind ourselves to feel the spaciousness between each breath as well.

And then taking your awareness and attention above you,

Into the central sun.

And you can imagine this central sun gold.

And it becomes like this ray of a waterfall,

Streaming gold down in through the crown of your head,

Down through the body,

Activating and illuminating all the cells,

All the spaciousness in between the cells.

Space for grace to enter.

To feel this connection between the above and below.

You right at the center.

This conduit between the sky,

The earth.

Being supported by this golden rays of radiance,

Of replenishment,

Of restoration,

Of grace.

And feeling the steadiness and the support from the earth beneath your feet.

And then just breathing it all in,

Right into the cells of your body,

So they tingle and dance and feel alive.

And once again,

Pulling in the gratitude for Clary Sage,

Marjoram Rose,

And Sweet Orange,

Who are our guides this month.

Saying a little thank you to yourself for making it,

For watching the replay,

For being here on this incredible secret garden adventure,

This experience that is just such a treat.

And then when you feel filled up,

I want you to choose to send some of that golden energy to someone or something you love.

Not at the expense of you losing anything,

But from the very point of you being filled up and overflowing so that you can share with another.

First person,

Animal,

Thing that comes to your heart.

Imagining them brightening,

Filling up,

Feeling that radiance,

That goldness.

And then releasing that and calling any pieces and parts of yourself back to be present,

Choosing to be here now.

This time together.

And really,

Really,

Really at your own pace,

You can start to feel yourself in the room that you're in,

Noticing sounds around you.

And you can rub your hands together,

Create some heat,

And then cup them over the eyes.

And this is just a really lovely way when you feel ready and take all the time you need,

Me too,

You can blink the eyes open and start to let some light in.

And when you're ready and only when you're ready,

Just slowly moving the hands away.
