Hello and welcome to this uplifting and trauma releasing meditation.

Let's choose a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

And once you're settled,

Let's gently close our eyes.

Begin with a deep breath in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Again,

Inhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four.

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Now breathing normally,

Let's direct our attention to the idea of release.

And take a moment to identify anything that you personally may need or be ready to let go of.

Any internal turbulence,

Possibly a feeling of disconnect between you and an external situation.

Maybe a situation that you feel stuck in.

Or even a disconnect between yourself and another person,

Possibly an attachment that's not serving you.

Sometimes when we're dealing with an issue,

We can easily slide into autopilot.

Forgetting to remain conscious and beginning to react instead of respond.

We can start to forget to employ emotional intelligence,

How emotionally aware we are with ourselves informs our ability to deal with others.

This is the ability to understand and express our emotions in healthy ways,

As well as identify and empathize with emotions of others.

The best way to remember and grow our emotional intelligence is to cultivate consciousness within ourselves.

So let's relax for a moment and think about a challenge that we might be dealing with right now.

Continue breathing normally.

Feel into this challenge.

Notice it.

Right awareness.

See if there's an emotion or a single word that bubbles up to describe your feelings about this situation.

As you're continuing to breathe normally,

See if you can pinpoint where in your physical self this feeling lives.

Give your chakras a scan and feel where this emotion is giving the strongest vibration.

Now gently hold your attention on that spot.

Imagine connecting and zooming in on that spot with that emotion.

Continuing to breathe normally,

Envision the emotion beginning to spin like a funnel cloud.

And as it's spinning,

Imagine that it's attracting to it like a magnet.

Any fragments,

Any pieces of stress or discomfort related to it from anywhere in the body.

Now on your next inhale,

I want you to imagine the best possible outcome of this challenging situation.

What are the words or the images that represent the best possible resolution for the highest good of all involved?

Imagine the faces,

The environment,

The setting,

The colors.

See this scene surrounded in glowing white divine light and breathe it in.

See it replacing the space where the difficult emotion used to live.

And as you exhale,

Release that funnel cloud.

Imagine the turbulence exiting your energy field on your exhale and returning to the universe.

Let's do this again.

Inhale and visualize the outcome of the best and highest good filling in the vacuum.

Exhale and send the funnel cloud of stress and difficult emotions back to the universe.

And now deepening our practice.

Let's use the mantra Om Gurvai Namaha to release us from our stressful situation and connect us back to the universe.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Repeat this silently in your mind.

As you are repeating it,

Allow the internal sound of the mantra to carry us deeper into our practice.

The mantra may begin to change in your mind as you repeat it.

This is okay and normal.

If your mind starts to wander or thoughts start to come up,

This is okay too.

Don't try to stop the thoughts.

Just allow them to bubble up.

Observe them existing and moving along.

If you feel yourself getting distracted or focusing on the thoughts,

Just come back to the mantra.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

I'll keep track of the time and when you hear my voice,

Begin to return to your physical self,

Keeping your eyes closed.

So remembering our breathing,

Let's begin.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Om Gurvai Namaha.

Keeping our eyes closed,

Let's settle back in,

Returning from the silence.

Take a deep breath in for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

And exhale for one,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

And when you feel ready,

Acknowledging your inner light,

You can slowly open your eyes.

And now,

Anytime you feel stress or a difficult situation beginning to take hold,

Feel free to return to this meditation and using this mantra to release it,

Allow yourself to remember your emotional intelligence and inner light.

Thank you for your practice.

Sat Naam.

It was good. There was a long pause for silent contemplation. I did question for a minute or two if she was going to end the meditation or if the app played up but be patient. The voice comes back and tells you when the meditation is over. Apart from that it was a solid meditation! Thank you.
