This is a recording that's intended for the full moon to allow you time for yourself to be in harmony with the cycles of the moon and the earth and how we all rotate in an ecosystem around each other.
At this time,
I'd like you to get yourself comfortable.
We'll do some breathing to ground yourself in honor of the fullness of you that's mirroring the fullness of the light of the moon shining back to you.
So take some time to breathe,
And I'd like you in a few moments here to cycle through what I start you with with breathing in your own time.
First I'd like you to breathe to the count of five in,
And then you're going to hold and then exhale.
So into the count of 5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Hold 3,
2,
1.
Exhale slowly 3,
2,
1.
So breathing into 5,
Holding for 5,
Exhaling for 5 in your own time.
Do that now.
In a few cycles on your own.
That's it.
You're getting calmer and calmer,
Allowing your body to really let go.
You feel calmer and calmer,
And your mind is opening up to the suggestions that I'm offering in this visualization.
Make this your final round of breathing into 5,
Holding for 5 and exhaling for 5.
You're visualizing alongside my words in your own unique way.
Trust your own intuition and imagination to take you on a journey in this meditation,
As is perfect for you.
It will be as if you're in a dream.
You're traveling now to a sacred body of water.
For you this water may be still like glass and the whole place feels still.
Maybe you just hear behind you in front of you some birdsong,
Or the wind rustling the leaves.
Notice the ripples or lack of ripples on the water.
Or if you're at an ocean,
Noticing the movement on the surface of the water and the ebb and flow.
That's it.
Noticing the smell,
The sensation on your skin.
And this body of water is here to remind you that you also are made of water.
The water you see in front of you is also living within you,
That you are sharing the experience of the fluidity of water.
I'd like you now to feel protected by those healing properties of water.
I'd like you to see yourself stepping in and bathing in this water now.
Enter the water.
Notice that sensation.
Allow yourself to feel refreshed and cleansed.
Soaking in the minerals that are in the water.
That's it.
Now I'd like you to also see your energy.
All that you feel from the water soaking in you.
I'd like you to imagine drawing up and expanding your heartbeat,
The flow of your energy inside your skin.
See it now growing,
Pulsing,
Ebbing and flowing.
And now you see that energy that's emanating and radiating out of your heart through your skin into the water.
And now you're gifting your own unique vibration back to the water.
And it's this beautiful exchange from you to the water and the water to you.
And with each breath,
That's it.
Drawing in your breath,
Pulling in your energy,
Maybe hold your breath and feel that energy growing in you as you hold your breath.
And with the exhale,
See your energy radiating,
Gifting back to the water.
This beautiful gift of you.
You are giving you to the water.
For you were on a journey in these last few months,
And for whatever you have challenged,
Have been challenged by and celebrated or felt plateaued.
This is you giving you back to the water.
You've let yourself feel full.
You're feeling fullness right now.
And you're drawing up your energy and dancing in that fullness.
And you see the light of the full moon now,
Which you hadn't noticed before.
The moon,
How did you miss it?
It's there.
The very full moon,
Beaming down on you in the water.
There you are.
The moon sees you.
It's like this milky moon bath.
And you're feeling energized in another way by the light of the moon.
You let yourself feel your skin in your toes that's underwater.
Notice your knees underwater.
Notice the front of your abdomen,
The back of your abdomen.
Notice your womb,
The feeling of swimming in the water and having an awareness of your womb.
Notice your breasts.
Notice your neck and your shoulders,
Your head.
Notice if you've gone underwater and come up,
Or if you're just floating on your back,
Letting the moonlight strike your skin in a light dance of connection with the moon.
That's it.
You are a beautiful expression of life in this human form.
And you're appreciating this moment in time,
Floating,
Rocking to the water and the moon.
And just let yourself be,
Acknowledging where you've been over the last few months.
What's worked,
What hasn't,
What still feels stuck.
That's okay.
I'd like you now to imagine an archetypal mother reaching out from the moon to you.
She's mothering you.
In this way you're mothering yourself actually.
Give yourself a warm gesture of kindness and compassion.
Of what's shifting inside of you right now.
You are loved and seen.
This moon shows you how much you are actually visible and seen.
And you're reminded of this by seeing the fullness of the moon.
Look,
The moon is so full.
And maybe even when it's dark,
You don't see it,
But it's there and you know that.
And today on the full moon,
You're celebrating being visible,
Being seen.
And giving voice to that which you've been struggling with and letting go.
That which you're striving for and letting go.
And acknowledging the woman in you.
That just is.
Acknowledging your spirit,
Your intuition.
Acknowledging your physicality.
With all the imperfections and the tenderness and the roaring fire in you.
As you sit here in the water,
I'd like you to have an awareness that this water you're in,
This body of water reaches across the earth to others that are in the water at the same time as you.
And now draw your awareness to your skin that gives you this beautiful,
Silky boundary in the water.
As the water holds the vibration of other women that are floating here on the full moon.
Other whales,
Fish,
Dolphins,
Creatures of the sea that are vibrating in the sea alongside you and that you're sharing the fullness of the moon.
Your energy with them,
Them with you,
All in this moonlight.
Let it be.
Let it be.
Feel your tenderness.
Feel your aliveness and your fullness.
