Close your eyes.
We're going to focus on your breathing.
Take a deep breath,
Hold it in,
And slowly exhale.
Listen to the sound of your breathing,
In and out.
Notice how the air flows,
In and out.
Allow your breathing awareness to deepen your relaxation.
Now we're going to focus on visualizing your next job.
If your mind wanders during the meditation,
Which is totally normal,
Just bring your attention back to my voice.
Imagine yourself in the near future,
Looking healthy,
Happy,
And satisfied with your job.
You are the director of this inner movie,
So feel free to imagine things the way you want.
See yourself in your desired position,
At a company that represents the values that are important to you.
Think of one of these values,
The one that is closest to your heart.
What is the job title that you have?
See it written on your name tag,
And in the contract that you sign with the company.
Look at this job title in its written format,
And see your name above it.
How does it feel?
Are you excited about this position?
Are you happy that you got the job?
See yourself in the morning,
Jumping out of bed,
Feeling excited about starting your day and going to work.
See yourself getting ready,
Full of anticipation about what your day is going to be like,
Who you're going to meet,
And what you're going to get done.
What time do you have to wake up for work?
What time do you have to leave home?
How many days do you work in a week?
How many hours a day?
Do you know?
Just think of what would be ideal.
Now see yourself traveling to and arriving at work.
If you're working from home,
Then you obviously don't need to go anywhere.
What does your working environment look like?
See the whole picture.
Start big and slowly zoom in.
See the area first,
Where your workplace is located,
Then the building,
And let's go inside the building,
Through the entrance door,
Then the hallway,
Straight to your immediate workplace.
Observe the size,
The layout of this space.
Look around,
Observe it,
The furnishing,
The interior,
The colors,
The textures around you.
Feel free to touch anything you like.
Get your senses involved.
What does it smell like here?
Make sure to create a space that you associate with positive emotions.
Look around,
Walk around this space,
And enjoy the fresh smell of the air,
The atmosphere,
The vibe of the space.
Everything feels light and easy.
You feel safe and secure.
You are respected and appreciated here by your co-workers.
