Hello,
Beautiful soul,
Welcome.
I'd love to take you with me here at my altar.
I've lit a candle,
Some beautiful incense,
And I've made a wonderful cup of ceremonial cacao.
If you need to pause and make your cacao or make your space even more special,
More sacred,
Please do so and come back when you're ready.
This invocation is dedicated to honoring the land our cacao comes from.
For me,
Cacao is such a beautiful ally already for many,
Many years,
And I realize that I don't always give the land the credits,
The attention,
The love it deserves.
So let's do that together today.
I invite you to hold your cup of ceremonial cacao in your hand now and to take a couple of breaths with me.
As we breathe in,
We allow the ribs to expand to the sides,
To the back body.
As we breathe out,
We let go of anything that no longer serves us.
Breathing in,
And letting go on the out-breath.
And twice more,
Breathing in.
And once more,
Your deepest breath of the day.
And grounding yourself into your body,
Into the land you sit upon.
I wish to honor and respect the land of the cacao we have in our cup today.
Perhaps you know,
Perhaps you don't.
Both is okay.
If you know your cacao's origin,
Well,
Travel to those lands.
If you don't,
Simply visualize the map of the world with me and the energy will go to wherever it needs to.
Taking a moment to close your eyes now,
If that feels right.
Feeling the warmth of the cacao in your hands.
And let us travel in our vision,
In our inner world,
To the lands where the trees are growing and blossoming brightly.
My cacao today is from the Solomon Islands,
So I will allow my imagination to travel all the way to the islands.
I invite you to do the same.
Allowing your consciousness to transport itself.
And when you arrive on those sacred lands,
You kneel down to the soil.
You bring your hands to the ground.
You bring your third eye to the soil,
Touching it,
Allowing a few grains of soil to sit in between your fingers.
You bow down now and bring your third eye to the soil in reverence.
Thank you,
Mother Earth,
For being the fertile womb in which these trees get to grow.
Thank you for gifting these cacao trees a home.
You then look up to the sky,
The sun peering through the leaves of the cacao trees.
Thank you,
Father Sun,
For gifting these trees sufficient life force so they can grow beautiful flowers.
And from those flowers,
The most incredible fruits grow.
And you gift us your seeds.
Thank you,
Father Sun.
Perhaps there is a body of water,
A waterfall,
Close to the trees.
We give thanks to the element of water.
This element allows the trees to grow as well,
Bringing up all the necessary nourishment from the soil,
The minerals,
And everything the trees need to grow big and strong.
The water reaches up through the trunk into the branches,
Into the flowers,
The pods,
And fill every seed with their richness,
Their goodness,
Their nourishment.
We give thanks to the air as well.
It is in the air that the midget flies can fly and pollinate every flower of the beautiful cacao tree.
Taking a breath as we give gratitude to the four elements and extending your vision to all the other trees surrounding the cacao trees,
Any plants,
Any flowers,
The animals that roam through the cacao forest,
Monkeys,
Snakes,
Insects.
For I was once told that cacao carries so much more than just cacao.
It carries the frequencies of all that surrounds the trees.
So let's send the deepest blessing from our hearts to everything that surrounds the cacao trees.
May we then extend our gratitude to the four elements and gratitude to the humans,
The guardians of this cacao forest.
For they are the ones that plant the seeds and tends to them.
They harvest the pods and process them or send the fermented seeds to wherever they need to go to then make their way to our cups.
May a rainbow of blessings be sent across the planets to the hearts of all of those that made it possible for your cup to contain this incredible medicine today.
Taking a breath into that.
Now allowing your attention to gently come back to where you are today,
Still holding your cup,
Maybe connecting your cup with your heart and allowing your heart to whisper your intention.
What is it that your heart desires most today?
Then imagining that your intention flows right through your arms,
Through your palms,
Your fingers,
Into your cup,
Into every drop of cacao.
Then lifting your cup up to the sky,
Receiving a rainbow of blessings from the sun,
The moon,
The stars,
The unseen world.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
Then gently bringing your cacao to your lips.
And as a dear friend of mine says,
Kissing your cacao now with love,
With compassion,
With deepest gratitude.
Allowing every sip of cacao to intentionally drip down into your esophagus,
Into your heart,
Into every cell of your being.
Thank you,
Beautiful one,
For extending your heart out to the sacred lands where your cacao comes from today.
I will leave a few more moments of music so you can get intimate with Mother Cacao and receive your medicine fully and completely.
Thank you so much for tuning in.
I wish you a most beautiful,
Beautiful morning,
Afternoon,
Or evening.
And I invite you to take this practice with you in your heart.
And whenever you think of it,
Travel back to the lands and give the lands,
The sun,
The water,
The elements,
Your gratitude.
Blessed be until we meet again.
