I know this is going to sound crazy,
But checking your phone incessantly is not going to make the bus come more quickly.
How about we take a couple of mindful breaths together?
I want you to get a sense for how you're already breathing,
Noticing where in the body you can feel the breath moving.
This is just an exercise of noticing,
So you don't really need to do too much.
You'll feel for if the breath is going deep into the belly or if it's more in the chest.
You'll notice if the breath is short or if it's a bit longer.
Just bringing a bit of curiosity here and really starting to examine how you are breathing today.
You'll take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And a nice,
Easy breath out.
