Ah,

Waiting for your coffee looks like a great time to be scrolling through your phone.

I want to bring you into the present moment,

So stop scrolling for just a moment.

You'll start to notice all of the things that you can see around you.

The various colors you notice,

The bustle and the sounds of morning.

You'll draw your awareness into any smells,

Get a sense of if there's any residual taste in your mouth.

Then you'll start to feel the crown of your head and notice where it is in space.

Press into your feet,

Grow long through the spine.

Take a deep breath in,

A nice long breath out.

Enjoy that coffee,

And I'll see you back here tomorrow for your next one minute of mindfulness.
