In this one-minute guided mindfulness session, we'll use awareness in an everyday situation to stimulate your senses and reset your body and mind. We will settle the body through breathing and awareness to put you into a present state and set you up for mind muscle connection through your workout. Through this simple mindful moment we'll refresh your body, clear your mind, and open up space for deeper, more expansive breaths.

Transcript

Time to train.

Before we add any more tension to the muscles,

Let's become aware of what's already going on with you.

So you'll close your eyes down.

If you can,

You'll lay down on the floor for this one.

If not,

That's okay too.

You'll bring your awareness to your jaw.

I want you to see if you can part the back teeth and start to create a little bit of ease here.

You'll roll the shoulders up towards your ears.

And as you glide them down your back,

Really let them be heavy away from the ears.

You start to guide the awareness into your chest.

You'll notice if it feels like it's closed or open.

You'll see if sending a breath here can start to create a little bit more space.

You'll notice the legs all the way down to the soles of your feet.

Take a deep breath in.

Think space.

And as you breathe out,

Ease.
