Once upon a time,

There was a young girl named Addy.

Addy felt that on some days,

Her worries were too big for her to handle and that she couldn't cope with them.

On one of these days,

Addy was overcome with worry and she asked mum if they could take a walk in the park to help her clear her mind.

As she walked,

She noticed a beautiful tree.

The roots of this tree was deep in the ground and its branches were stretching up high into the sky.

She stopped to admire the beauty of the tree and thought to herself,

If this tree can stand so tall and be so strong,

Then surely I can too.

Mum suggested that they sit underneath the tree and take in some deep breaths.

As she did so,

She imagined that she was the tree and that she could feel the strength of its roots underneath her.

She imagined that each deep breath she took was as deep as the root of the tree.

It connected her to the ground and giving her strength and stability.

Addy also imagined that each time she exhaled,

She was sending out her worries and anxieties into the air.

Just like the branches of this tree,

She imagined that her worries were taken away by the wind and that she was free from them.

Addy felt so much lighter and stronger as she continued to sit beneath the tree and soon she felt her anxiety start to fade away.

She smiled to herself and let out a deep sigh.

Feeling relieved and content,

Addy decided that she would come back to this tree whenever she felt overwhelmed.

And on the days that she couldn't come back to her tree,

She'd picture herself sitting by the tree and releasing its worries through the branches of the leaves,

Being carried away by the wind.

Thank you for listening to our story today.

Here's hoping you have the most beautiful day.
