So settling in.
However you'd like to receive this,
Receive these words.
And let that word,
Gentle,
Just drop through you like a pebble in a calm lake.
Just let it drop through and see what it feels like.
See if it brings anything to the surface or shifts anything.
What would it look or feel like from the inside if,
If gentleness was,
Was the essence of what was going on here inside?
I invite you to,
With the awareness,
Step into the body.
With this question or this pebble that we're dropping in into experience of gentleness.
Is there gentleness in the belly?
And can belly be met in gentleness?
How is spine?
Is your spine holding you up?
Or are you holding up your spine?
What would it be like to kind of meet spine in gentleness?
From the tailbone all the way up to the point where the spine meets the skull.
Can we feel into our upper back with this gentleness?
Inviting in gentleness.
And the energy with which you touch into the upper back,
Can that be led by gentleness?
What is it like to invite gentleness into the shoulders?
Into the energy of the shoulders and the structure of the shoulders.
To behold or meet the shoulders with this gentle energy.
What is it like,
This gentleness in the shoulders?
How is the throat?
Could there be this sense that your awareness is sort of enveloping the throat in gentleness?
And at the same time there's this flowering of gentleness inside of the throat from the inside out.
It's like gentleness meeting gentleness.
What would it be like if the jaw was really gentle?
What would that feel like?
A really gentle jaw.
I'll focus for a moment considering the way that we kind of clench the jaw as we push on,
Push through in life.
Just gritting our teeth and getting it done.
And putting up with it.
How would it be if we met that energy of having to or forcing ourselves to?
If we met that with gentleness,
Enveloped it in gentleness.
What if the tongue could be more gentle?
Like really,
Really soft.
What would it be like if there was more gentleness in the eyes?
The eyelids?
Just this gentleness.
Just this gentleness descending into the eyes.
As if gentleness was this fog just settling on the land of the eyes.
And so the eyes were only able to rest and soften.
There's this gentleness between the eyebrows.
Any furrowing or scrunching just met with softness.
The forehead.
Just allowing gentleness to settle.
And anything in the forehead or the space between the eyebrows that doesn't feel gentle,
Just meeting that with gentleness.
Gentleness at the temples.
Gentleness that meets and envelops and allows any tightness or tension at the temples.
Feeling into the space where the brain meets the skull.
Can there be gentleness in that meeting?
Gentleness in that space,
The pressure,
The heat,
Whatever you find there.
Gentleness.
Feeling your way to awareness of the mind.
What is it like if that question or that word,
Gentleness,
Is dropped into the mind?
It's like that pebble in the still lake.
What is it like if gentleness ripples through the mind?
What is it like if gentleness sinks down through the mind?
All the way to the depth of the mind,
The floor of the mind.
Space for gentleness.
Gentleness infusing the space of the mind.
And wherever there isn't space for gentleness,
Well,
Something else is happening.
Can you meet that with gentleness?
As if gentleness is the thing that is being met and that which is doing the meeting.
Gentleness in the mind.
Gentleness in the way and the what that meets the mind.
Gentleness looking in the mirror and seeing gentleness.
Dropping your awareness into the heart.
Into the physical space of the heart.
Meeting what you find with gentleness.
That sense of gentleness settling like a fog on the ground of the heart.
Maybe like that pebble now dropped onto the surface,
The physical space of the heart.
Maybe that word like a question,
Gentleness.
Dropping into the emotional space of the heart.
Feeling how you feel.
Feeling the mood.
What's alive for you right now in the heart.
Gentleness.
Gentleness.
Welcoming gentleness and being gentleness.
Resting back into this heart-mind-body-being.
Feeling how you feel.
Maybe a new element of gentleness is here.
Maybe there are spaces,
Places or parts where gentleness is not there.
If it's like that,
Meeting it with gentleness.
And if it's like that for you or it's possible,
Maybe there's that sense of that fog of gentleness just settling,
Enveloping and suffusing gentleness.
Or perhaps gentleness looking in the mirror,
Seeing gentleness.
Tours.
