Hello beautiful stars.
Welcome to today's meditation in Take Your Meds.
Today I'm just going to shake things up a little bit or break things up between self-inquiry questions and really what I want to do today is just take you through a very very relaxing meditation.
So you don't need your journals,
You don't need your pens.
All you want to do is just find a very comfy position lying down or sitting down whatever is good for you and you're just going to receive this time of being relaxed and allowing your body,
Allowing yourself to take you to a relaxed state,
A relaxed state that maybe you've experienced before.
Maybe you haven't experienced for some time but you're really looking forward to it.
Or maybe this will take you beyond the most relaxed you've ever been and this can be your most relaxed state.
But that's the intention.
Just to receive it and let it happen to you and for you.
So closing down your eyes if you haven't already.
Taking some nice soft gentle breaths in and out.
Every breath that you breathe in,
You're breathing in a little more relaxation.
And every breath you breathe out you're letting go of something that gets in the way of being relaxed,
Whatever that may be for you.
Every breath you take in,
You're breathing in more relaxation.
And every breath you breathe out,
You're letting something that doesn't serve you go.
And as you're doing this in your imagination,
I want you to imagine in your mind's eye a pleasant feeling forms over the top of your head.
You don't need to know exactly what that pleasant feeling is but just imagine that you're feeling something that's going to be there for you.
And now begin to let it flow over your scalp,
Down into your forehead,
Through your face.
Let that beautiful pleasant feeling flow through your forehead,
Through your face.
Let that beautiful pleasant feeling just move through your jaw,
Around into the back of your head,
And then down into the tiny little muscles in the back of your neck.
They relax too.
They let go.
And you go deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Your mind can wander and drift back again and that's fine,
But just keep flooding that beautiful beautiful feeling down into your shoulders,
Then into your biceps,
Your triceps,
Going deeper now as you flow that feeling through your elbows,
Into your forearms,
And through your wrists,
And into your hands and into your fingers.
And there's no need to know how this is happening,
But just let it happen.
And now let it flow through your forehead,
Let it flow through your chest,
Through your face.
And now as you continue to relax,
You can now relax for a little more and more.
With each comfortable breath that you take,
You now flow that feeling down into the top of your back,
And around into the broad muscles of your chest,
And into the lower back of your chest.
And then around into your stomach.
And as this feeling permeates through your body,
You just continue to go deeper and deeper into relaxation.
That pleasant feeling now moves through into your hips.
Through your buttocks,
Taking you deeper and deeper as you let it flow into your thighs.
It slides through your kneecaps and down into your shins and calves.
This feeling moves through into your ankles and into your thighs.
And now as you continue to relax,
You can now feel the feeling move through your ankles and into your feet,
All the way down to your toes.
And when it reaches your toes,
You go deeper and deeper into relaxation.
And the deeper you go,
The better you feel.
And the better you feel,
The deeper you go.
In your mind's eye now,
I want you to imagine that that pleasant feeling at the tips of your toes,
It now turns into a colour or colours.
And you can imagine any colour or any colours that you wish.
Inside of this colour is incredible healing properties,
Far beyond what your mind can comprehend.
And this colour and all of its healing properties now begins to move through your body,
Into every cell,
Into every bone,
Into every muscle,
Into every muscle,
Into every muscle,
Into every muscle.
This colour and its healing properties moves through your veins and your arteries.
And all you need to do is just imagine and keep imagining it,
Moving through your body,
Trusting and knowing that no part of you will be missed.
These healing properties and this colour permeates through your entire body and you are absorbing and accepting this.
And you are accepting and accepting this.
With ease,
With grace and with gratitude.
And this colour that is now swirling through your body,
It now begins to pierce through your skin.
And this incredible colour and healing is now coming out of you.
And you are now flooded inside and on the outside,
With the most beautiful,
Beautiful colour and beautiful healing properties that you can imagine.
And so just imagine yourself drenched in this,
Knowing that something is happening in and around you for your highest good.
And you are now floating in and around you for your highest good.
And all you need to do is just let it happen.
Just let it happen.
Now in you very gently just start to move your fingers,
Your toes,
Rolling your neck side to side or front to back.
Just stretching out your arms as you feel you need to.
Just to give some life back into the body.
Now before you open your eyes,
Just feel how nice this gift was to yourself.
To allow relaxation to happen to you and for you.
And if this was a struggle,
If this was hard,
Try again.
Keep allowing relaxation into your life.
Make it a part of your practice.
A part of your self-love practice.
In your own time when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
