Welcome back to The Tribe.
We're focusing today and this week on managing our stress way better by reassessing and re-evaluating our lives.
This is just a reset meditation,
A reset mantra meditation that will get you into the practice of noticing,
Oh my god I'm stressed and that's cool,
You know.
It's cool to to still go into that automated response,
You're not a bad person if you do that but in order to shift anything you've got to be aware of when you've landed in stress and you've chosen to land in stress and then what you can do to regulate yourself to move out of the stress state.
So today's meditation is simple mantra meditation that will hopefully prime your beautiful little brains to resetting in real life when real life stress takes place.
So closing down your eyes and getting yourselves into a nice comfortable meditation position.
And once you've landed there just start taking some nice deep breaths in and out.
Nice slow deep breaths in and out.
Nice slow deep breaths in and out.
Nice slow deep breaths in and out.
And just let these nice slow breaths slow you down so you can connect in.
And just continue breathing now at a pace and rhythm that feels nice and natural.
Nice natural pace.
And from this place of connection just listen quietly silently to yourself.
Just repeat these words.
I can control the stress response.
I choose to notice that the stress is there.
And I choose not to let it overwhelm me.
Because I choose how I feel.
I choose how I respond.
I choose peace.
I choose to take problems in my stride.
I choose resilience.
Because I can control the stress response.
Yes it's quick.
Yes it's automated.
But I choose not to let it overwhelm me.
I choose another way.
I choose to let it overwhelm me.
I observe when I am stressed.
I don't make myself feel bad about it.
But in that moment I choose another way.
And I choose peace.
I choose to rock and roll with problems in my stride.
Because I choose resilience.
I truly am in control of how I choose to respond.
That power is in me.
It always has been.
It always will be.
That power is in me.
It always has been.

That power is in me.
It always has been.
It always will be.
It always will be.
Start taking some deeper breaths in and out.
Stretching out your hands,
Your fingers,
Your feet and toes.
Stretching out your body as you need to to give it some life and juice.
And I invite you to remember that the power of choice is in you.
It always has been.
