Closing down the eyes.
Taking a long,
Deep inhale through the nose.
And a long,
Slow exhale out the mouth.
And with every breath in,
Centre,
Arrive here.
And with every breath out,
Release,
Let go.
Continuing to inhale deeply through the nose.
And exhale slowly out the mouth.
Coming down the nervous system.
Anchoring in this breath.
Anchoring into the natural rhythm of your chest rising and falling.
Beginning to feel completely at ease.
Becoming present within the body.
Bringing your focus to the pause between each breath.
Breathing in stillness.
And exhaling any tension.
And if the mind starts to wander,
Call it back home to your breath.
The breath holds onto the past so invite your breath to breathe in the present.
And exhale the past.
Inhale beautiful white light from the tips of your toes all the way up to the crown of your head.
And exhale let go from the crown of the head all the way down to the tips of the toes.
And as I count down from five you will feel yourself going deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Five.
Feeling the body melt into the surface beneath you.
Four.
Feeling completely at ease.
Three.
Rolling your eyes up into the middle of your eyebrows.
Two.
Bringing them down to your heart.
Eyelids closing over eyelids.
One.
Surrender.
Relax.
And as you're laying there so peacefully,
So calm and relaxed,
I want you to bring forward a limiting belief you have about yourself.
Is it a bad habit?
A lie you tell yourself?
A thought that dominates your life?
Is it something you were told about yourself by someone else?
I want you to imagine this belief as chains and shackles on your body.
I want you to feel the heaviness of these chains as they pull you down,
Down.
If these chains could talk,
What would they say to you?
Notice how these beliefs make you feel.
Notice how they are holding you back from living your best life.
Where does this limiting belief stem from?
Is there an even earlier experience you can remember?
Step into that experience.
What did this version of you need back then?
Can you give that to this version of you now?
Feeling yourself forgiveness,
Acknowledgement,
Stability,
Love,
And just feeling how that feels within the body to receive.
And in your right hand,
See a small key.
Putting it in the lock of your shackles and chains and feel yourself become free of them.
Floating into the air as you begin to realize you held the key all along.
You realize it was you holding onto this belief.
Chaining yourself to a life of fear.
Feel the freedom pour through every cell as you float up towards a golden light.
Feel the light illuminate through you.
Filling you up with gold invigorating liquid.
Allowing it to heal each bruise and each cut from your shackles.
Having this bright light to make you feel so free.
As you begin to realize you are responsible for your own well-being.
Your own success.
Your own freedom.
You are the main character.
The script writer.
And the star of your life.
Change the script.
And beginning to breathe a little deeper.
And exhale a little slower.
Breathing down and coming back into the body.
Back into the here and the now.
Feeling rested.
Rejuvenated.
Feeling free.
Motivated.
Autonomous.
Wriggling the fingers and the toes.
And when you are ready coming up to journal about your experience.
