Hello and welcome.
I'm really happy you're here with me right now.
Close your eyes and just be with me.
You are here,
In motion,
Surrounded by the pulse of the city.
Announcements echo,
Doors slide open,
People shift and shuffle around you.
And yet,
Within it all,
You can find calm.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose,
And then exhale gently through your mouth.
Let the sound of your own breath become the quietest music you know.
Feel the rhythm beneath your feet,
The hum of the train,
The roll of the wheels,
The faint vibration under your seat.
Let that movement remind you that life is carrying you forward,
Even now.
Take another breath,
This time a little slower.
Imagine your breath creating space between you and everything around you.
A soft,
Invisible cushion of calm.
With each inhale,
You draw your attention inward.
With each exhale,
You release the pull of the crowd.
Notice how your shoulders feel.
Notice the small muscles in your face.
If you've been holding tension,
Let it melt,
Right here,
Right now.
The world rushes on,
Trains,
People,
Time and plans,
But you don't have to rush with it.
You can ride this moment as if you are gliding through it.
Your breath becomes your anchor.
The air moves in and out,
Steady,
Smooth,
And kind.
Each inhale reconnects you to your center.
Each exhale releases everything that isn't peace.
Maybe the air feels warm against your skin.
Maybe the lights flicker.
Maybe voices rise and fall all around you.
Let it all blend together into one gentle hum that simply exists.
Take one last deep breath in,
Feeling yourself centered and grounded.
And exhale completely,
Sending gratitude to this moment for showing you that calm is never out there,
It's always within.
Namaste.
