Hello and welcome,
I'm so thankful you're here with me right now.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to take a big deep breath,
Filling up your entire body with fresh air,
And then exhale all that air out.
Take in a big deep breath again,
Hold it for a moment at the top,
And then breathe it all out,
Feeling yourself come right here to this moment.
You've made it back,
The travel,
The schedules,
The conversations,
They're all behind you now.
This is your moment to arrive,
Not just in a place at home,
But in peace.
Allow yourself to settle wherever you are,
Perhaps on the couch,
In your bed,
Or just standing still for a moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And then let a long sigh fall out on your exhale.
Let your body know you're home.
Feel your feet on solid ground,
Notice how still it is compared to the movement of the past few days.
Your body has been carrying you from place to place,
Let it rest now.
Let it remember stillness.
Breathe in again,
Gathering the leftover noise of travel,
The rushing,
The talking,
The planning,
And then exhale all of it out,
Like releasing old air from a balloon.
The work is done,
The trip is complete,
And whatever unfolded,
You did your best.
You can let the day's story,
Or perhaps the week's story,
Close here.
As your breath softens,
Invite in gratitude for safe travel,
For lessons learned,
For every person and experience that met you along the way.
Let those memories rest lightly,
Like photos you can revisit later,
But don't need to carry right now.
Your mind might still be in motion,
Sorting details,
Replaying moments,
Preparing for what's next.
Let the breath remind it to let go.
Breathe in calm,
Breathe out striving,
Breathe in presence,
Breathe out the need to perform.
Notice how your energy shifts,
The edges soften,
The rhythm returns.
This is what balance feels like,
Not the pause before the next thing,
But the space that lives inside of you,
No matter where you go.
Not just in this place,
But within yourself.
The stillness that traveled with you was never lost,
It was waiting here,
Ready to welcome you back.
Take one last deep breath in,
Filling yourself up with ease,
And then exhale fully,
Emptying everything you no longer need to be here at home.
Namaste.
