Take a deep breath and let it go.
I'm so grateful that you're here with me tonight for this sleep meditation.
I hope that it helps clear your mind and relax your body so you can ease into sleep.
Take another slow,
Deep breath in,
And as you exhale,
Feel the weight of your day begin to fall away.
Let your body soften.
Let your mind begin to ease.
Gently place your focus into your center,
That quiet space deep within you.
Feel its steady rhythm.
Feel the calm that lives there,
Waiting for you to arrive.
As you breathe,
Allow the tension in your body to slowly unwind.
Feel it leaving your shoulders,
Your arms,
And your hands.
Let your body grow heavy,
And more at peace with every breath.
Now,
See if you can think of someone that you're ready to forgive.
Perhaps that's even yourself.
Feel the emotions that rise,
The hurt,
The frustration,
The resentment.
Just notice them,
And allow them to be here,
Without trying to push them away.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to let go,
Bit by bit.
You don't have to hold on to any of this anymore.
You can release it,
Just as you release the tension in your body.
Let forgiveness settle within you.
Not as something forced,
But as a gentle letting go.
Feel your breath moving naturally,
Soothing you,
Softening the edges of your pain.
Forgiveness is not about forgetting,
But about freeing yourself,
Releasing the hold that anger has on you.
Breathe in deeply.
And as you exhale,
Feel the space around your heart begin to expand,
Making room for peace,
For rest,
For healing.
Feel your body grow even more relaxed,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Your toes,
All settling into stillness.
You are supported,
You are safe.
There is nothing left to figure out,
Nothing left to hold on to.
You are free to rest.
Let the stillness of the night carry you.
Let it soothe you as you sink deeper into sleep.
Forgiveness is with you,
A quiet presence helping you heal and bringing you peace.
Rest deeply,
Knowing you are safe.
Allow yourself to drift into peaceful sleep,
Resting in forgiveness,
Staying in the calm of the night.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
