I'm so glad you're here with me right now.
As soon as I put my head on the pillow,
Sometimes my brain can become immediately filled with stresses and worries,
Preventing my body from relaxing and getting the sleep it needs.
So,
I hope tonight's meditation will help wash away all of those thoughts,
All of the stressful and emotional things that are in your mind and in your body right now,
So you can fall into deep sleep.
So,
Close your eyes,
And give yourself a moment to ease into your most favorite and comfortable sleeping position,
Maybe turning over onto your side or hugging your pillow from the side,
Or just easing further into your pillow on your back.
And when you're there,
When you find it,
Take a deep breath,
And on your exhale,
Feel yourself melting a little further into this position,
Anchoring yourself here.
And then come inside and find your breath.
See if you can imagine yourself stepping into a warm,
Soothing bubble bath.
The water surrounds you,
Embracing your body with a gentle warmth.
Within it,
You can feel the healing energy,
Ready to wash away all the stress you've been carrying.
As you sink deeper into the tub,
Feel the warmth touch your skin,
Melting away any layers of thoughts and emotions and tension you've been carrying.
Your muscles begin to soften,
And the water holds you.
You are safe here.
The quiet stillness of the room surrounds you,
And the soft glow of candlelight flickers around the edges of your awareness.
This is your place of complete calm.
Let the water rise around you,
Covering your feet and your legs.
With each breath,
The warmth of the water seeps deeper into your muscles,
Soothing them and relaxing them,
Releasing any of the tension that's stored in your body.
Feel the gentle weightlessness as the water supports you.
The healing waters flow around your hips and lower back now,
And each breath allows you to sink deeper into relaxation as the warmth soothes your core and softens your spine.
Any stresses that have been living here are dissolving and carried away by the water's gentle touch.
As you breathe,
The water rises to your chest.
With each inhale,
Feel your heart lightening.
The weight of the day is being carried away.
The warmth cradles you,
Wrapping around your shoulders,
Loosening any tightness.
The water moves over your arms,
All the way from your shoulders to your fingertips.
Feel the healing waters touch your neck now,
Cooling your mind and quieting any racing thoughts.
Any lingering anxiety,
Any tension that sits in your throat and jaw begins to release.
Your brows soften,
And your eyes relax.
Your entire body is now bathed in calm,
As soothing water melting away everything that no longer serves you.
You lie back fully now,
Letting the water completely support you,
Floating in its arms.
It holds you effortlessly,
Allowing your body to surrender fully into rest.
The warmth of the water surrounds you,
Comforting every part of you,
While the room remains silent and peaceful.
And as you exhale,
Feel any final knots in your body or your mind unwind.
Every muscle,
Every thought,
Every bit of tension has been washed away by the healing waters.
You are weightless,
Light.
