Welcome to your meditation for when you're feeling sick.
You can do this meditation anytime,
Anywhere,
Including lying on the couch with a tissue in your hand.
What you will need for this meditation is some inner motivation.
In this meditation,
You are the cheerleader for your immune system and your body.
As you settle back and close your eyes,
You bring your awareness first to the present moment and then to a body scan from toe to the crown of the head.
Becoming more and more aware of your physical body,
You think of your skin,
Your bones,
Your muscles,
And then more granular,
Your tendons,
Ligaments,
Organs,
Eyes,
Fingernails and toenails.
With this deep awareness on your physical body,
You begin sending love energy,
Scanning that love energy from your toes up through your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Back,
Belly,
Chest,
Neck,
Head,
Even to the ends of your hair.
You have great power to influence your body.
And so coming from your heart,
You cultivate feelings of wellbeing from your heart,
Your mind,
And your soul.
You allow those feelings of wellbeing to wash throughout your entire body.
You ride those waves of feelings of wellbeing,
Care,
Love,
Compassion,
And healing.
You gather up that great power that you have within you,
The hope,
The knowing,
The power to heal.
And you start to imagine all of the cells in your body as individual beings.
Fifty trillion cells to make you you,
To keep you alive.
You send them encouragement and gratitude.
Thank you for all of your hard work,
Cells.
Maybe you'd like to personify them.
Thanks girls.
Thanks guys.
Thanks folks.
Send them energy.
Send them strength.
Mobilize all 50 trillion cells to heal you,
To fight illness and pain.
And then humbly ask them,
Please heal me.
I need you.
You can do it.
And then in your mind's eye,
You imagine yourself healed.
The pain is gone.
The illness subsided and you're doing something wonderful.
Joy radiates from your being.
You exude good health inside and out.
Your cells are working in perfect harmony.
You're vibrating at your highest level.
So alive,
So well.
Keep that image in your mind of yourself engaging in that activity.
Healthy,
Well,
Alive.
And then thank your cells for getting you there.
Thank you for working in perfect harmony to bring me to my highest expression of health.
In closing,
We bring our attention to our mindset.
We choose hope.
You choose optimism.
You choose strength,
Tenacity,
Positivity,
And love.
You pull yourself out of a dark place and into the light,
Your body follows.
You send love,
Care,
And compassion to your body,
To your mind,
To your heart and soul.
And with that energy high,
We close the meditation but keep that energy up exactly where it is.
