A lion's breath is an intentional yawn where we relax to release stale air build up in our lungs while boosting blood flow to the brain. This yawing exercise is wake-up signal of arousal opening awareness. Relax your tongue, jaw and unclench your teeth. Inhale deeply through your nose. Exhale strongly through the mouth, make a "ha" sound. As you exhale, open your mouth wide and stick your tongue as far out as possible towards your chin. Inhale, returning to a neutral face. Repeat 3-5 times

That's a wild yawn,

Also known as a lion's breath,

Where you relax your tongue,

Your jaw,

Unclench your teeth,

And inhale deeply through your nose.

And then you exhale strongly through your mouth,

Making a ha sound.

As you exhale,

Open your mouth wide and stick your tongue out as far as possible toward your chin.

Inhale and return to a neutral face.

You repeat this about three to five times,

And like the confidence of a lion,

You'll also relax and let go and find maybe a few moments of peace.
