What you are feeling is your signal to slow down and honor.

Honor the cycles of your womanhood and allow it to draw you closer to your natural feminine energy.

There's nothing wrong with you or your life.

It's simply time to listen.

This is a time to rest,

Restore,

And observe.

This is a time to reflect and be still.

This is a time for silence and for peace.

You will be up and running again soon,

But now is not the time to run anything.

I know it can feel like everything is falling apart.

You may be feeling emotional and anxious.

You may be feeling sad and self-critical.

You may be feeling hopeless and confused.

It can feel like someone just took the wind right out of your sails.

You may even be feeling like you're crazy,

Having mood swings and many mixed feelings.

It's important to remember that this is temporary.

It's important to remember that this is all moving through you and it isn't who you are.

You are not gone.

Now is not a time to make big decisions or figure anything out or change anything.

Just be with what is.

Observe what is.

Now is not the time to manifest or take big actions towards your hopes and dreams.

You may even be feeling disconnected from them and worried you aren't doing the right thing.

You may be feeling like you're not doing enough,

But it's okay.

They will still be there when you get back,

But they need you to take this time to rest.

Part of your ability to move mountains is the time you take to rest in between.

We cannot always be creating or moving or doing.

There has to be an ebb and flow.

There has to be a balance.

Do not force yourself to try and do things that you just don't have the energy for right now.

Do not say yes when you really want to say no.

This is a time of deep honoring of self.

I encourage you to see this time with new eyes.

Embrace it for what it is.

How can you use it to your advantage?

How can you really lean into it?

What does it have for you?

Instead of resisting,

Get curious and invite it in.

Ask it to show you what it has for you.

As a woman,

I feel grateful to have a reason to slow down every month.

I look forward to it,

And I see it as an important part of who I am.

It makes me feel more feminine.

I feel a calling to be in nature and to walk barefoot in the grass.

I feel like spending time alone and loving on my dog.

I feel like keeping my days really simple and connecting more with the earth.

I feel like meditating more often,

Calming my mind.

To me,

It just feels like stepping back from the fast pace of the world and creating a cozy space for me to slow down and just be the observer for a while.

Nothing I have to do,

Just being and observing.

This is the gift we can give to ourselves.

Our bodies go through so much.

I do not think it's reasonable or logical to behave in the same way when my body is bleeding than when it's not.

Of course,

I'm going to need to rest and slow down.

We can give this to ourselves.

We can honor this time.

We can connect to our bodies more deeply and give it what it really needs.

So I encourage you to check in with yourself.

Find out what you need.

Communicate this to your loved ones and those close to you and then give it to yourself.

Take the time you need.

Be kind to yourself,

Be compassionate with yourself,

Be sweet to yourself,

And remember to honor the cycles of your life.

Now,

Let's begin our meditation.

I invite you to come into a really comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Just make sure you can fully relax,

Sink in,

And let go.

And let's take some really big inhales and exhales.

On the inhale,

Your belly expands,

And then your chest rises.

And then on the exhale,

Those contract back in toward your body.

So you really want to feel into that breath,

That movement.

So just breathing in this way for a few rounds,

Not forcing anything,

Just seeing if you can get your body into this rhythm.

The belly rises on the inhale,

And it contracts on the exhale.

And just bringing your awareness into your heart,

Just focusing on yourself.

And I invite you to repeat after me.

I honor this time of slowing down.

I listen to what my body wants and needs.

I am kind to myself.

I go easy on myself.

I am allowed to take rest,

Slow down,

And reconnect to myself.

I focus on nurturing myself.

I focus on peace and stillness.

I focus on peace and stillness.

I spend time in nature and with Mother Earth.

I consciously step away from the noise and busyness of the world for a little while.

There is nothing for me to figure out or accomplish right now.

I restore and reset myself so that I have energy and vitality when I come back up,

Which I surely will.

I restore and reset myself so that I have energy and vitality when I come back up,

Which I surely will.

All is well.

All is well.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

And so it is.

And take a really big inhale and exhale,

Breathing in those words.

And allowing them to resonate and take shape inside of you.

Feel them resonating with your heart.

Feel them integrating into your body.

Feel them resonating with your heart.

Feel them resonating with your heart.

Feel them integrating into your body and your mind and your soul.

This is what you need.

And before you open your eyes,

Just set an intention to remember this.

Remember this feeling.

Remember these intentions.

Sealing it in.

Trusting you've got this.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Namaste.

Thank you so much. I was in a panic and searched the app for pmdd and yours was top of the list and saved me from a full blown panic attack. Everything you said helped calm me down so much and I burst into tears because it sounded like you were talking as you knew me and what I was thinking. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart. So grateful to come across you xx
