Welcome friend to this heart healing meditation as we help you find peace again from past relationships.

Whether it's romantic,

Friendship,

Family,

Or work related,

We all experience challenging relationships in our lives that sometimes leave us feeling depleted or empty.

Sometimes we may even carry shame or discomfort around how the ending of a relationship came to be.

We may feel heartbroken.

So today I will help guide you through your heart and into the body for deep transformation and healing.

Find a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Getting all of the last minute wiggles out.

Any last movement that's craving to be felt.

And bring awareness to your body.

No need to change anything.

Just notice.

Notice the quality of your breath.

Notice the weight of your body against the surface beneath you.

And gently,

Without force,

Allow yourself to arrive here in your body.

Following the sound of my voice.

Let's take a few grounding breaths together.

Starting by inhaling through your nose.

And exhale slowly out the mouth like a sigh.

Again,

Inhaling up through the belly and up through the chest.

And exhale,

Letting go.

Letting go.

Place your left hand on your heart.

And your right hand holds the left on the heart.

And let go.

Feel your touch.

Warm,

Kind,

And reassuring.

And take one more breath here in through the nose.

Hold.

And really sigh it out through the mouth.

Begin to scan your body gently and curiously.

Bring your awareness to the top of your head.

Your jaw.

And invite it to soften.

To your shoulders.

And let them roll back and down away from your ears.

To your chest.

And notice if there's any tightness or heaviness there.

Just notice.

If you feel any pressure,

An ache,

Or pain.

Or a flutter.

I want you to imagine sending your breath to that space.

Breathing into that area.

And as you inhale,

Imagine a beautiful green light expanding that area.

Wrapping it.

Holding it.

Embracing it.

And as you exhale,

Feel that beautiful green light softening.

Like melting ice with the warmth of your breath.

Using each inhale and exhale.

Now bring your awareness to the space behind your heart.

Your upper back.

The place where we often hold unspoken grief.

Things left unsaid.

Or the ache of endings.

The spine is also the place in our bodies that deeply and most accurately represents the support we feel from our ancestral line.

Visualize a warm golden light entering the back of your heart space.

As if you're being held and supported by something bigger than you.

Feel this golden light going down your back.

Into your legs.

And growing roots down into the earth.

This golden light reaches up through the upper back.

Over the shoulders.

Through the neck.

Over the head and down to the entire front of your body.

Like honey,

You are being wrapped in this sacred energy.

No matter where we venture into,

You are supported and held.

I invite you now to gently bring to mind a past relationship that's left an imprint on you.

We don't have to relive it in this moment.

Just simply acknowledge it.

And as you remember this pain,

Let your body show you what needs tending.

If your mind starts to wander,

Getting lost in the details or leaving the body,

Use your breath to come back here.

Follow my voice.

Tune into the sounds inside you.

There may be memories,

Emotions,

Sensations.

Whatever arises,

Just breathe.

You are the observer now.

Become clear on where this pain is still living inside you.

If you feel tension,

Stickiness,

Or a need to move this energy,

I invite you to move your body ever so slightly.

Maybe start to sway your shoulders,

Roll your neck,

Or gently tap your heart space with your fingers.

Whatever movement you are called to is your body's way of releasing.

So just trust it.

The movements might feel big,

Spacious,

And expressive.

Or they might feel small,

Safe,

And nurturing.

The emotion and sensations you are experiencing have a shape.

So gently and safely allow your body to take that shape now with love.

And allow these emotions to take up space in any way that they need to.

Anywhere that you were left behind in that past connection,

You can call it home.

Anywhere that part of you from that relationship was left behind in that connection,

Call it home.

Say silently or aloud,

I lovingly call my energy back to me now.

I am whole.

I am protected.

I allow myself to be free.

Bring your awareness again to your heart.

Visualizing this golden light wrapping around you like a cocoon.

Whatever you expressed and released today has been held and sealed in love,

In trust,

And in safety.

We can move slowly with each part of us that arises as we heal and aim to move forward.

Sometimes in difficult relationships,

We get to take baby steps before we get to an end.

So come back to this meditation any time that you feel a need to move heartbreak,

Disappointment,

Or sadness.

You can come back to this to deepen your breath,

To feel your chest expand with possibility and release.

Sometimes the greatest journey is moving as fast as our slowest part and honoring that journey.

As we close,

Take a moment to thank your body for holding you,

For releasing for you,

And for being with you on this healing journey.

And know that each time you return to your breath,

Your body,

To your heart,

You are choosing love.

You are choosing you.

So when you're ready,

Begin to slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.

Stretch your arms out wide or up overhead and gently open your eyes or lift your gaze.

Returning to this moment,

Feeling lighter,

Clearer,

And more connected to yourself.

With each piece you put down,

You remember you are worthy of love,

The kind that feels like truth,

The kind that starts from within.

And it begins right here.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for loving your heart enough to heal.

Welcome home.
