So today we're going to work with the chakras,
A little bit of a Reiki meditation.
So let's all dive in,
Close down the eyes.
Grounding through the sit bones.
Let's just take a deep breath in.
And out.
Checking in with the long spine.
Let's start to bring our awareness down to the feet,
The legs,
The tailbone.
Tuning into the root energy center,
Muladhara chakra.
The chakras are junctions of energy where lots of the nadis intersect.
So the root energy center around your tailbone holds energy that relates to your survival instincts,
Your survival needs.
So just start to breathe into that place in the body.
Breathing into your lower body.
Let's work with the affirmation,
I am safe.
I am grounded.
Breathing with the breath.
Breathing with that.
Bring your awareness up to your hips,
Your reproductive organs,
Your low belly,
The sacral energy center,
Sphasthi sthana chakra.
This one is where we hold our relationships,
Our emotions.
Breathing through the pelvis with I feel.
And as you say that to yourself out loud or within your mind,
Check in with how you feel truly today.
Breathe into your belly.
Mani pura chakra,
The solar plexus energy center.
Through your abdomen,
Tracing around on your back,
Where we hold a lot of power.
It's where we hold our identity,
Our drives,
Any sense of purpose.
Strong breath here.
Bringing balance to these centers within yourself,
Using your breath.
Bring your awareness up to your heart,
Your chest,
Upper back,
Arms.
The heart energy center,
Anahata chakra.
It's where we hold love,
Compassion,
Fear,
Grief,
Empathy.
How is your heart today?
Breathing up to the throat,
Feel the wind of the breath move through the airway.
The shuddha chakra,
The throat energy center.
It's where we hold our voice,
Of course.
It's where we hold our creative gifts.
And it's where we share those gifts with the world,
Your ideas,
Your thoughts,
Your thoughts.
Your ideas,
Your opinions.
Working with an affirmation for this one,
I speak.
I speak my truth.
Guide your awareness up through your face,
Tuning into your senses,
Into the space between your eyebrows,
Where we hold what many people call the sixth sense,
Your intuition.
In ajna chakra,
The third eye energy center,
Where we hold that wisdom.
Breathing from nostrils right to that spot.
And bring your awareness up to the crown of the head.
Sahasrara chakra,
Your crown energy center.
This one is all about your connection or feeling of connection to something larger than yourself.
Sitting down,
Feeling your body,
Your mind,
Your body.
Sitting tall and breathing up your whole body.
The affirmation is,
I trust.
And sitting with yourself,
Feeling for balance through those energetic centers.
Bring the hands over the chest onto your heart.
We'll tune into that heart energy center.
