So today we're doing a calm waters meditation.
So let's start to drop in together,
Finding a comfortable seat,
Landing into this familiar posture,
This familiar space behind the islands,
Starting to connect with your breath.
Today you could do Yonamudra,
Wisdom mudra with the index finger and thumb together.
Just bringing yourself into a more connected place with your intuition,
With your wisdom.
And we're starting to dive down deeper within ourselves,
Finding the calm that sometimes gets buried under stress and distraction,
Busyness,
But it's still there.
So each inhale,
Inflate the belly and exhale,
Let yourself sink deeper into yourself.
If you imagine a boat sitting in the ocean,
There's always going to be some waves,
Some rock,
Whether it is subtle,
Pretty calm or rocky like a storm.
But either way,
If you go down deep enough in the ocean,
It gets calm and quiet.
Start to tune into that part of yourself,
Getting quiet,
Becoming still.
Even your breath is sometimes fast paced or rocky,
And sometimes it's smooth.
Sometimes we breathe very deeply and it is this beautiful automatic process.
And the deep breath is always there for you.
A more calm breath is available if you tune in.
Here,
Imagine yourself floating in a body of water,
Completely relaxing your body.
And if you have experienced that before in your own life floating in water,
Everything gets quiet.
You're looking up at the sky.
Letting everything relax here,
Creating that same feeling of floating,
Drifting.
Tune into your breath.
Let's bring the hands up to heart center.
Thank yourself for taking this time to connect with that inner calm.
Thank you so much for joining me for this meditation.
